A choke for fluid connection between a manifold and a pump. The choke includes a fluid passage having an inlet, a contraction portion, a throat, an expansion portion, and an outlet. The inlet has a first diameter and the outlet has a second diameter. The throat is substantially cylindrical, having a third diameter that is substantially less than the first and second diameters. The contraction portion connects the inlet and the throat and gradually decreases from the first diameter to the third diameter along a longitudinal axis of the fluid passage. The expansion portion connects the throat and the outlet and includes a substantially cylindrical chamber having the second diameter.

Wellsite power mapping and optimization

Apparatus and methods for energizing well operations fluids, including a fluid energizing device directly or operatively connected between first and second conduits. The fluid energizing device includes a chamber. A first fluid enters the chamber from the first conduit, and a second fluid enters the chamber from the second conduit and energizes the first fluid within the chamber. A third conduit conducts the energized first fluid from the chamber to a wellhead.

The present disclosure introduces apparatuses and methods for assessing health of oilfield pumping equipment. An example pump assembly health monitoring system receives angular position data, including angular positions associated with operation of the pump assembly, and parameter data, including values of a parameter associated with the pump assembly that fluctuates with the angular positions. The monitoring system determines a cepstrum of the parameter data with respect to the angular position data, and determines a ratio of a first amplitude of the cepstrum at a quefrency of about zero to a second amplitude of the cepstrum at a non-zero quefrency. The determined ratio is indicative of a health of a component of the pump assembly.

Cepstrum analysis of oilfield pumping equipment health

A system and method for determining a health condition of wellsite equipment is presented herein. The method includes thermally analyzing at least a portion of one of the wellsite equipment units with a thermal imaging device capable of detecting infrared light to determine a temperature of the analyzed portion of the wellsite equipment unit. The temperature of the analyzed portion of the wellsite equipment unit may be used to indicate the health condition of the wellsite equipment unit.

Method for determining a health condition of wellsite equipment

A mixer sensing assembly of a mixer for mixing a wellsite fluid in a tank at a wellsite is provided. The mixer includes a shaft driven by a driver and a paddle operatively connectable to the shaft and rotatable therewith. The sensor assembly includes a mount operatively connectable to the shaft, a fluid interface, and a mixing sensor. The fluid interface is responsive to flow of the wellsite fluid passing thereby, and is connectable to the mount. The mixing sensor is connectable to the mount, the fluid interface, and/or the shaft to measure a strain applied to the thereto whereby fluid parameters of the wellsite fluid may be determined. The wellsite fluid may be mixed moving the components in the tank with the mixer, and measuring a strain on the mixer by detecting movement of the sensor assembly.

A centralized power system including at least one engine having a plurality of discharge connectors; a plurality of articulating power connectors, each articulating power connector comprising a first end connected to a corresponding discharge connector, and a second end connectable to at least one piece of oilfield equipment thereby supplying power from the at least one engine to the oilfield equipment.

A compressor has an input in fluid communication with a natural gas source, and has an output in fluid communication with the wellbore. The compressor is operable to compress natural gas received at the input for delivery at the output. A liquefied gas source is also in fluid communication with the wellbore.
