The electronic device includes a transparent display capable of displaying content on a front surface part and a rear surface part, and at least one processor operatively connected to the transparent display, wherein the at least one processor can be configured to identify the position and size of content, for which security is required, in a screen image displayed on the front surface part, identify the color and/or the brightness of an object corresponding to the content, and display the object having the identified color and brightness on a region of the rear surface part determined based on the position and the size of the content.
