A catalyst system for olefin polymerization contains a main catalyst and a cocatalyst. The cocatalyst contains a twelve-membered ring compound represented by formula (M). The catalyst system is suitable for preparing polypropylene products having high stereoregularity and low ash, and can regulate the melt index of the products within a wide range by adjusting the amount of hydrogenation. It is also suitable for copolymerization systems to improve the copolymerization yield.

Catalyst system for olefin polymerization and use thereof

A magnesium halide adduct represented by the formula (I): MgX.mROH.nE.pHO, in which X is chlorine, bromine, a C-Calkoxy, a C-Ccycloalkoxy or a C-Caryloxy, with the proviso that at least one X is chlorine or bromine; R is a C-Calkyl, a C-Ccycloalkyl or a C-Caryl; E is an o-alkoxybenzoate compound represented by the formula (II): in which Rand Rgroups are independently a C-Clinear or branched alkyl, a C-Ccycloalkyl, a C-Caryl, a C-Calkaryl or an C-Caralkyl, the Rand Rgroups are identical to or different from the R group; m is in a range of from 1.0 to 5.0; n is in a range of from 0.001 to 0.5; and p is in a range of from 0 to 0.8, is disclosed. A catalyst component useful in olefin polymerization, which comprises a reaction product of (1) the magnesium halide adduct, (2) a titanium compound, and optionally (3) an electron donor compound, is also disclosed. 

Spherical magnesium halide adduct, a catalyst component and a catalyst for olefin polymerization prepared therefrom

Spherical carriers for an olefin polymerization catalyst, catalyst components, catalysts, and preparation methods therefor are disclosed. The method for preparing the spherical carriers comprises the following steps: (1) reacting, in the presence of at least one polymeric dispersion stabilizer, a magnesium halide with an organic compound containing active hydrogen to form a complex solution; (2) reacting said complex solution with an alkylene oxide-type compound to directly precipitate solid particles; and (3) recovering the solid particles to obtain spherical carriers. When a catalyst prepared by using the present spherical carrier is used in propylene polymerization, said catalyst exhibits high polymerization activity and high stereo-directing ability.

Spherical carriers for olefin polymerization catalyst, catalyst components, catalyst, and preparation methods therefor

The present invention provides a catalyst component for olefin polymerization and a preparation method thereof, and a catalyst for olefin polymerization and an application thereof. The catalyst component for olefin polymerization comprises reaction products of the following components: (1) a solid component; (2) at least one titanium compound; and (3) at least two internal electron donors, wherein the solid component comprises a magnesium compound represented by formula (1) and an epoxide represented by formula (2), wherein Ris a C-Clinear or branched alkyl; Rand Rare identical or different, and are independently hydrogen or unsubstituted or halogen-substituted C-Clinear or branched alkyl; X is halogen; m is in a range of from 0.1 to 1.9, n is in a range of from 0.1 to 1.9, and m+n=2. 

Catalyst component for olefin polymerization, preparation method thereof, and catalyst comprising same

A catalyst component for olefin polymerization is disclosed, which comprises at least one diol ester type electron donor compound (a) and at least one diether type electron donor compound (b) among others, wherein the molar ratio of a to b is 0.55-50. A preparation method of the catalyst component, a catalyst comprising the catalyst component, and an olefin polymerization method using the catalyst which can especially be used for preparation of polypropylenes of low ash contents are also disclosed.

Catalyst component for olefin polymerization and preparation method thereof

A spheric magnesium compound comprises a reaction product of at least the following components: (a) a magnesium halide having a formula of MgXR, wherein X is independently chloride or bromide, R is a C-Calkyl, a C-Caryl, a C-Calkoxy, or a C-Caryloxy, and n is 0 or 1; (b) an alcohol compound; and (c) an epoxy compound having a general formula (I), wherein Rand Rare independently hydrogen, a C-Clinear or branched alkyl, or a C-Clinear or branched haloalkyl. A catalyst component for olefin polymerization is disclosed, which comprises a reaction product of the following components: (1) a spheric carrier; (2) a titanium compound; and optionally, (3) an electron donor, wherein the spheric carrier comprises a reaction product of at least the following components: (a) a magnesium halide represented by a general formula of MgXR, wherein X is independently chloride or bromide, R is a C-Calkyl, a C-Caryl, a C-Calkoxy, or a C-Caryloxy, and n is 0 or 1; (b) an alcohol compound; and (c) an epoxy compound represented by a general formula (I), wherein Rand Rare independently hydrogen, a C-Clinear or branched alkyl, or a C-Clinear or branched haloalkyl. When the catalyst of the invention is used in olefin polymerization, in particular in propylene polymerization, at least one of the following desired effects can be achieved: high polymerization activity of catalyst, high stereospecificity of catalyst, good hydrogen response of catalyst, high stereoregularity of polymer having high melt index, and low content of polymer fines. 

Catalyst component for olefin polymerization and catalyst comprising the same

A magnesium halide adduct is provided, comprising at least one compound of the formula MgXY, at least one compound of the formula ROH, methanol, at least one modifying agent chosen from DOE and o-hydroxy benzoates, and optionally water.
