A color conversion panel includes a plurality of pixel areas including a first pixel area and a second pixel area, and a non-pixel area which is adjacent to the first pixel area and the second pixel area, a light blocking layer in the non-pixel area, a color filter layer including a first color filter in the first pixel area and a second color filter in the second pixel area, a color conversion layer which color converts incident light, and scatters and reflects external light, the color conversion layer including a first color conversion pattern corresponding to the first color filter and a light transmission pattern corresponding to the second color filter, and a light absorbing layer which faces the color conversion layer and absorbs light which is scattered and reflected from the color conversion layer.

Color conversion panel and display device including the same

A display apparatus includes: a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel, which emit light of different colors from one another; light-emitting diodes corresponding to the first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel, respectively; a functional layer arranged in a light-emitting direction of the light-emitting diodes and including a first quantum dot layer corresponding to an emission area of the first sub-pixel and a second quantum dot layer corresponding to an emission area of the second sub-pixel; and a light absorption layer disposed between the light-emitting diodes and the functional layer. At least a portion of the light absorption layer is disposed between the light-emitting diode corresponding to the first sub-pixel and the first quantum dot layer, the first sub-pixel is a red sub-pixel, and the light absorption layer includes a pigment or a dye absorbing red light.

A display device may include a transistor substrate including a driving element, and having a display area, and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a bank layer on the non-display area of the transistor substrate, and exposing an outer area of the non-display area of the transistor substrate that is opposite to the display area, an inorganic insulating layer covering an upper surface of the bank layer, a side surface of the bank layer, and the outer area of the transistor substrate, a low refractive layer on the inorganic insulating layer, and a first color filter layer on the non-display area to cover a portion of an upper surface of the inorganic insulating layer, and a side surface of the inorganic insulating layer.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes: a first base layer; a circuit element layer on the first base layer; a pixel definition layer on the circuit element layer and comprising a plurality of light-emitting openings which are spaced apart from each other and define a plurality of light-emitting regions; a second base layer spaced apart from and facing the first base layer; a light-shielding layer on the second base layer and comprising a plurality of openings respectively overlapping the light-emitting regions, wherein on a plane of the first base layer, shapes of first to third openings along one direction among the openings are different from each other.

Display panel with reduced external reflection and improved light efficiency

A display panel includes a first display substrate including first to third pixel areas and a light blocking area that is adjacent to the first to third pixel areas and a second display substrate including first to third display elements respectively overlapping the first to third pixel areas. The first display substrate includes a base substrate, a first color filter overlapping the first pixel area and having a first color, a second color filter overlapping the second pixel area and having a second color different from the first color, a third color filter disposed on the base substrate, having a third color different from the first and second colors, and including a filter portion overlapping the third pixel area and a light blocking portion overlapping the light blocking area, and a light blocking member disposed on the light blocking portion and containing a black organic pigment.

Display panel and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate on the first substrate; a pixel between the first substrate and the second substrate and including a pixel area and a non-pixel area around the pixel area; a color filter between the pixel and the second substrate and overlapping with the pixel area; and a plurality of protrusions between the second substrate and the color filter, and each of the protrusions has a width that decreases as a distance from the second substrate increases.

A display device is capable of preventing damage to a driver integrated circuit (IC) when a malfunction occurs therein, the display device including a display panel including a gate line, a data line, a first dummy line, and a second dummy line; a first data driver integrated circuit connected to one side of the data line; a second data driver integrated circuit connected to another side of the data line; a first power supply configured to apply a part of first enable signals to the first data driver integrated circuit, and to apply a part of second enable signals to the second data driver integrated circuit through the second dummy line; and a second power supply configured to apply the rest of the second enable signals to the second data driver integrated circuit, and to apply the rest of the first enable signals to the first data driver integrated circuit through the first dummy line.
