The present invention discloses a synthesis method of ursodeoxycholic acid by using the plant-derived compound BA as a raw material to synthesize ursodeoxycholic acid through the steps of ethylene glycol or neopentyl glycol protection, oxidation, Wittig reaction, deprotection, reduction and hydrolysis, etc. The raw materials used for the synthesis of ursodeoxycholic acid in the present invention are cheap and easy to get, the synthesis steps are easy to operate, the yield is high, the reaction is environmentally friendly, and the industrial production is convenient.

A flexible electrocatalytic membrane for removing nitrate from water, a preparation method and use thereof are provided. The method of the present invention includes dropwise adding an aramid fiber solution into deionized water to prepare an aramid nanofiber sol, then reacting an ethanol solution containing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene and ferric nitrate with the aramid nanofiber sol to prepare a conductive aramid nanofiber sol, and finally dropwise adding MXene nanosheets ultrasonically pretreated by a tetramethylammonium hydroxide solution into the conductive aramid nanofiber sol to prepare the flexible electrocatalytic membrane. The prepared flexible electrocatalytic membrane possesses good mechanical strength and flexibility, and can not only effectively remove nitrate but also avoid failure of electrocatalytic materials due to surface fouling in the process of electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate, and thus has a long service life.

A thin-film composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane with anti-bacterial and anti-biofouling effects and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The preparation method includes: dissolving a highly water-stable metal organic framework CuBTTri in an n-hexane solution containing trimesoyl chloride by ultrasonic wave, immersing a polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane in an aqueous solution of m-phenylene diamine and taking out, and then immersing the ultrafiltration membrane in the trimesoyl chloride-n-hexane solution containing the aforementioned metal organic framework for reaction and modification, so as to obtain the thin-film composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane. The resulting composite reverse osmosis membrane integrated with the anti-bacterial metal organic framework CuBTTri has a high reverse osmosis membrane permeability and possesses greatly improved and persistent anti-bacterial and anti-biofouling properties. The preparation method is simple and conducive to promotion, and has mild conditions.

The mixer comprises a shell, an injection port, a first baffle, a second baffle, a deflector, and an impactor, wherein the first baffle is provided with a gas inlet, the second baffle is provided with a gas outlet, the first baffle and the second baffle are disposed opposite each other, and the first baffle, the second baffle and the shell provide a flow space for an exhaust gas to flow in the mixer; and in the flow space, the first baffle, the shell, the deflector and the impactor provide a mixing space, the deflector comprises a first deflecting surface opposite the first baffle, the deflector is disposed adjacent to the impactor, and the impactor is disposed opposite the injection port for impacting a liquid injected from the injection port into the mixing space. The mixer and the exhaust aftertreatment system have the advantages of a simple structure and a high processing efficiency.

To provide a modified forward osmosis (FO) membrane module for flow regime improvement, the FO membrane module includes but not limited to: a water inlet; a water outlet; a forward osmosis (FO) membrane; a frame; and folded plates for improving flow regime in which draw solution is introduced into the water inlet of membrane module, then flowed through flow channels composed by three opposite folded plates vertically arranged on upper and bottom portions of the frame alternatively along horizontal direction with equal space; and drawn out from the water outlet. The flow regime improvement is achieved by increasing number of flow-guide folded plate, which results in the decrease of internal concentration polarization and membrane fouling. Structure of frame is modified to improve flow regime and to satisfy requirement of convenient and reliable connections between numbers of membrane modules in the FO membrane system.

Herein is described a method for identifying semiconductor radiation detector materials based on the mobility of internally generated electrons and holes. It was designed for the early stages of exploration, when samples are not available as single crystals, but as crystalline powders. Samples are confined under pressure in an electric field and the increase in current resulting from exposure to a high-intensity source of ionization current (e.g.,Co gamma rays) is measured. A pressure cell device is described herein to carry out the method. For known semiconductors, the d.c. ionization current depends on voltage according to the Hecht equation, and for known insulators the d.c. ionization current is below detection limits. This shows that the method can identify semiconductors in spite of significant carrier trapping. Using this method and pressure cell, it was determined that new materials BiOI, PbIF, BiPbOCl, BiPbOBr, BiPbOI, BiGdOCl, PbOI, and PbOIare semiconductors.
