A single phase permanent magnet motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator corer and windings. The stator corer includes a yoke portion and stator teeth. Each stator tooth includes a winding portion and a pole shoe connected to an end of the winding portion. Each pole shoe includes a pole face. The pole face defines a first positioning notch at a middle thereof. Each of the pole faces further defines at least one second positioning notch. Said at least one second positioning notches in one of pole shoe are located at the same side of the first positioning notch of the corresponding one pole shoe. The first and second positioning notches are configured such that an initial position of the rotor received in the space of the stator is offset from a dead point position.

Single phase permanent magnet motor

A single phase permanent magnet motor includes a stator. The stator includes a stator core and windings. The stator core includes a ring portion, tooth bodies extending radially from the ring portion, and a pole shoe extending from a distal end to two circumferential sides of each tooth body. Each pole shoe defines a positioning slot. A center of each positioning slot is offset from a center of symmetry of one adjacent tooth body so that a torque fluctuation of an output torque of the single phase permanent magnet motor during operation is less than 50%. As a result, the motor vibration and noise are small.

An endcap assembly for an electric motor and a stator having same are provided. The endcap assembly includes an endcap, a first wire, and two terminals corresponding to the first wire. The two terminals are fixed to the endcap and configured to connect with corresponding windings of the electric motor. The endcap defines a first accommodating groove extending from one terminal to the other terminal. The first wire is received in the first accommodating groove, and two ends of the first wire are electrically connected to the two terminals, respectively.

Endcap assembly for an electric motor and stator comprising same

A fluid generating device and an electric apparatus utilizing the fluid generating device are provided. The fluid generating device includes a motor and an impeller driven by the motor. The motor is a single phase direct current brushless motor which includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core includes an outer ring portion, teeth extending inwardly from the outer ring portion, a pole shoe formed at the tooth. Slot openings are formed between the pole shoes. The rotor is received in a receiving chamber defined by the pole shoes. Inner surfaces of the pole shoes and the rotor form therebetween a substantially even air gap. The presence of even air gap can reduce the cogging torque of the motor, thus reducing the startup current and noise of the motor.

Fluid generating device and electric apparatus using the same

A single phase motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core. The stator core includes an outer yoke and a plurality of stator teeth. Each stator tooth includes a winding portion and a pole shoe coupled to the winding portion. The rotor includes a rotor core and a plurality of permanent magnets. The permanent magnets are evenly spaced and embedded in the rotor core. An outer circumferential wall of the rotor core is an irregular cylinder and includes a plurality of spaced circular arc surfaces and transition surfaces. The starting of the single phase motor is stable and reliable. The present invention also provides a rotor for the single phase motor.

A single phase motor and a hair dryer are provided. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core includes an outer ring portion, teeth extending inwardly from the outer ring portion, and two pole shoes extending from a distal end of each tooth. A winding slot is formed between each two adjacent teeth. A slot opening is disposed between the pole shoes of the adjacent teeth, and is offset from one of the two adjacent teeth. The air supplying unit includes the single phase motor and an impeller. The startup angle and cogging torque of the motor are adjustable by adjusting the position/width of the slot opening, without the need of additional positioning slots or positioning holes defined at the pole shoes, which makes the motor structure simple.

A single-phase outer-rotor motor includes a stator and a rotor surrounding the stator. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and a plurality of teeth. Each of the teeth forms a tooth tip at a distal end thereof. A slot opening is formed between each two adjacent tooth tips. The rotor includes a housing and a permanent magnet affixed to an inside of the housing. The permanent magnet forms a closed ring in a circumferential direction. The permanent magnet forms a plurality of magnetic poles along the circumferential direction. An outer surface of the stator and an inner surface of the permanent magnet define there between a symmetrical uneven gap. A width of the slot opening in the circumferential direction is less than or equal to five times of a minimum width of the gap.

A single-phase outer-rotor motor and a stator thereof are provided. The stator includes a stator core having a yoke and a number of teeth. Each tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. A winding slot is formed between each two adjacent tooth bodies. A slot opening is formed between each two adjacent tooth tips. The tooth tip protrudes beyond the tooth body. Inner surfaces of at least part of the tooth tips facing the stator are formed with cutting grooves such that a portion of the tooth tip outside the cutting groove is capable of being tilted outwardly to enlarge the slot opening and deformed inwardly to narrow the slot opening.

A single phase brushless motor and a power tool are provided. The single phase brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and at least two teeth. The tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. The tooth tip includes first and second pole shoes. The two pole shoes of each tooth are symmetrical about a center line of the tooth body. Each tooth defines a positioning groove facing the rotor between the two pole shoes. Pole shoes of adjacent two of the at least two teeth are spaced apart by a slot opening. A width of the positioning groove is greater than a width of the slot opening. The peak value of the cogging torque of the motor is increased, and the motor has a large startup torque.

An electric motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core, a stator winding, a first insulating frame, a number of first insulating elements, and a number of second insulating elements. The stator core includes a number of teeth. Adjacent teeth form a winding passage defining a winding opening. Each first insulating element is assembled within the corresponding winding passage. Two end portions of each second insulating element are placed over the corresponding winding opening.

A single phase brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and stator windings wound on the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke portion, and first and second pole portions extending inwardly from the yoke portion. An end surface of the first pole portion includes a first arc surface having a first groove. An end surface of the second pole portion includes a second arc surface having a second groove. The first and second arc surfaces are opposed to each other and define a receiving space therebetween. The rotor includes a rotary shaft and permanent magnetic poles fixed to the rotary shaft. The permanent magnetic poles are received in the receiving space. A substantially uniform gap is formed between the first arc surface and the second arc surface and the permanent magnetic poles.

A drive apparatus for an electric bike includes a hollow housing body, an internal ring gear fixed to the housing body, and a main shaft. At least two motor units are mounted in the housing body. Each motor unit includes a support bracket and a number of motors mounted on the support bracket. Each motor drives the internal gear through a transmission mechanism to rotate the housing body about the main shaft. The motors share one controller. Peaks of the motor cogging torque can be staggered.

Drive apparatus

A brushless motor includes a stator core having 3M teeth, with M being an integer not less than 2, a rotor received in the stator core, 3M coils respectively wound around the 3M teeth, and a printed circuit board (PCB) fixed to the stator core and electrically connected to the 3M coils such that the 3M coils are connected in delta and correspond to three phase windings. Each phase includes at least two coils connected in parallel.

Brushless motor

An electric motor, especially a brushless PMDC motor, has a stator and a rotor rotatably installed inside of the stator. The stator has a housing with an open end, an end cap fixed to the open end of the housing, a stator core fixed to an inner surface of the housing, and windings wound on the stator core. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnetic poles. The housing has a flange bent inwardly from the open end of the housing and abutting against the end cap inwardly and axially to thereby fix the end cap to the housing. The length of the flange measured along the circumferential direction of the housing is greater than half of that of the housing.
