A method for scalable and secure vehicle to everything communications may include receiving telematics data from a plurality of vehicles and tracking the vehicles within a window which is centered based on the telematics data. The position of the window may be determined based on positions of the vehicles. The method may include dividing the vehicles within the window into partitions having sizes based on a maximum number of vehicles within the partitions, and determining a metric representing a suitability of communications between the vehicles in the window.

Scalable and secure vehicle to everything communications

A method includes receiving readings from a plurality of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The method identifies rules associated with the readings from the IoT devices and determines a three dimensional (3D) dataset based on the plurality of IoT devices, the readings and rules associated with the readings from the plurality of IoT devices. The method includes determining policies to be applied to routing of the readings based on rules for dividing the readings into subsets of the 3D dataset, and routing processing for subsets of the readings to be processed in parallel by processing units based on the policies. The method further includes processing the readings to generate a list of actions, and resolving the conflicts in the list of actions based on a multi-phase queue. The method also includes executing the actions.

Rules execution system for IoT devices

A network device logs transmission control protocol (TCP) flow data for connections between registered devices that are registered for use of secure Internet of Things (IoT) application programming interfaces (APIs). The logging generates logged flow data. The network device receives, from a first registered device, a call validation request for an IoT API call directed to the first registered device from a second registered device. The call validation request includes packet information of the IoT API call. The network device compares the packet information with the logged TCP flow data. When the comparing indicates a match of the packet information and the logged TCP flow data, the network device sends a response to the first registered device to accept the IoT API call. Otherwise, the network device sends a response to the first registered device to reject the IoT API call.

Internet-of-Things partner integration

A device may receive first data items and second data items that may have been output by sensor devices. The device may add, to a node in a data structure, at least some of the first data items. The device may divide the node to create subnodes that correspond to subregions of a geographic region. The device may add, to at least one of the subnodes, at least some of the second data items. The device may generate a probability of a first relationship, between the first data items and the second data items, based on determining subnodes that include a first data item and determining subnodes that exhibit a predefined second relationship with a second data item. The device may send, to another device, the probability of the first relationship to support location-based services.

Determining a probability of a relationship between layers of geographic information system data

A system is configured to receive, by a first server, a request, from a user device, for a first record stored by a cache associated with the first server, determine, a first timestamp associated with the first record, determine that the first record is invalid based on the first timestamp, and determine, based on determining that the first record is invalid, whether the first record is out of date with respect to a corresponding second record stored by a second server by comparing a second timestamp of the first record with a timestamp of the second record. The system is further configured to update the first record with information from the second record to form an updated first record when the first record is out of date, and to send the updated first record to the user device associated with the request.

Time-based data caching

A method for scalable and secure vehicle to everything communications may include receiving, at a communications management device, telematics data from a plurality of vehicles. The method may further include segregating the plurality of vehicles into initial clusters based on the telematics data, and dividing the initial clusters into binary space partitions having various sizes, where the size of each binary space partition is based on a maximum number of vehicles in the binary space partition. The method may include determining, for a selected vehicle within an associated binary space partition, a metric representing a suitability of communications between the selected vehicle and other vehicles in the associated binary space partition, receiving updated telematics data from the plurality of vehicles, shifting the initial clusters based on the updated telematics data, and updating the binary space partition based on the shifted clusters.

A status of an Internet of Things (IoT) device included in a local area cloud is identified. The local area cloud includes IoT devices that are connected in a wireless local area network (WLAN), and one IoT device functions as a leader of the local area cloud. A cloud server associated with the IoT device is identified and information identifying the status is forwarded to the cloud server via a wireless wide area network (WWAN). The cloud server selects an action to be performed by the IoT device and forwards data identifying the action. The leader receives and distributes information identifying the action to the IoT device via the local area cloud. The action may include actions by multiple IoT devices in the local area cloud or IoT devices included in multiple local area clouds. A user may input data to control the cloud server.

The device can generate a dynamic data structure that includes the shortest-path tree and a set of additional traffic objects associated with a second map layer. The device can determine a shortest path by analyzing traffic objects associated with the shortest-path tree and the set of additional traffic objects. The device can provide the set of navigational directions to indicate the shortest path.

Converting between data structures to determine a shortest path between two geographic locations

A network device receives a plurality of framework definitions corresponding to a respective plurality of device platforms, wherein each of the device platforms comprises at least one device. The network device generates a plurality of generalized framework definitions for each of the plurality of device platforms, wherein the plurality of generalized framework definitions comprise basic linguistic components corresponding to elements in the respective plurality of framework definitions. The network device receives data from the at least one device for each of the device platforms. The network device extracts data from the received data based on the plurality of generalized framework definitions. The network device automatically identifies contexts that include at least one device for each of the at least two device platforms based on the extracted data. The network device transmits instructions to the at least one device for each of the at least two device platforms based on one of a rule or a request associated with the identified one or more contexts.

System and method for facilitating interoperability across internet of things (IOT) domains

A network device enables browsing of a plurality of pre-defined VMs associated with IoT devices. The network device receives, from a user device, selection of a first pre-defined VM from the plurality of pre-defined VMs, wherein the first pre-defined VM includes at least one first device state and at least one first sensor type, and receives, from the user device, instructions to modify the first pre-defined VM, by adding an additional device state or an additional sensor type to the first pre-defined VM or by removing the at least one first device state or the at least one first sensor type from the first pre-defined VM, to create a first customized VM associated with a first physical IoT device. The network device stores the first customized VM in a database, and uses the first customized VM for accessing or controlling the first physical IoT device.

Virtual models for access/control of internet of things (IoTs) devices

A computer device may include logic configured to receive, from a user device via a network, a manufacturer-independent request intended for a target device; identify a virtual device model instance associated with the target device; and identify a virtual device model associated with the identified virtual device model instance. The logic may be further configured to select a manufacturer adapter based on the identified virtual device model instance and the identified virtual device model; generate a manufacturer-specific request for the target device based on the received manufacturer-independent request and the selected manufacturer adapter; and send, via the network, the generated manufacturer-specific request to the target device.

Virtual device model system

Attributes of a session, between a source device and a verification device, for sending first verification data, such as a password and an account identifier, are determined. The verification device generates user device data based on an identifier, such as a mobile device number (MDN), for a user device associated with the account identifier. An identifier, such as an MDN, associated with the source device and an encryption key associated with the verification device are determined based on session attributes. Second verification data is generated based on the identifier associated with the source device. The second verification data is encrypted using the encryption key and forwarded to the verification device. The verification device decrypts the second verification data and compares the identifier for the user device to the identifier for the source device to determine whether the first verification data was sent from the user device.

Using a mobile device number (MDN) service in multifactor authentication

A device receives, via a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN), a manifest file associated with streaming content, wherein the manifest file includes a sequence of multiple Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) that identify network storage locations of multiple content segments of the streaming content, and wherein a sponsorship signature of multiple sponsorship signatures is appended to at least one of the multiple URIs of the manifest file. The device retrieves the multiple URIs, and the sponsorship signature, from the manifest file; sends the sponsorship signature to a charging node in the PLMN for controlling the charging of data delivery associated with the streaming content to one of a user of the media playing device or a sponsor of the streaming content based on the sponsorship signature; and engages, via the PLMN using the multiple URIs, in a content streaming session to receive the streaming content.
