The pressure relief mechanism includes: a connecting mechanism including an aperture and a first boss, the first boss being connected to an inner wall of the aperture and extending toward an axis of the aperture; a pressure relief sheet for being actuated to release an internal pressure of the battery box when the internal pressure reaches a threshold and being arranged on a side of the first boss; a first protective sheet used to protect the pressure relief sheet and arranged on the other side of the first boss away from the pressure relief sheet; a compression ring arranged on a side of the first protective sheet away from the first boss; and a pressing structure connected to the connecting mechanism and being capable of being pressed toward the axis of the aperture.

The connection component includes a body, a convex portion, a concave portion and a gap control portion, and the body includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other in a thickness direction thereof; and the gap control portion is configured to be when the associated connection component is stacked on the other connection component, said gap control portion is in contact with said the other connection component, so as to control a dimension of a gap D between the two connection components to be greater than 0.6H, wherein H is the height of the convex portion protruding from the first surface. According to the connection component provided by the present application, the gap between two adjacent connection components can be controlled when material is stuck.

The battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, an end cover assembly and a current collecting member. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing, and the electrode assembly includes a tab. The end cover assembly includes an end cover, an electrode terminal and an insulating member, the end cover is used to cover at an opening of the housing, the electrode terminal is mounted to the end cover, and the insulating member is located on one side of the end cover facing the electrode assembly. The current collecting member is used to connect the electrode terminal and the tab. This structure can make more space for the electrode assembly and can effectively increase the capacity of the battery cell.

The battery box includes a pressure relief region including a first recess arranged at an inner surface of the battery box and a second recess arranged at an outer surface of the battery box, the first recess being arranged opposite to the second recess, wherein a third recess is provided at a bottom wall of the first recess and/or a bottom wall of the second recess, and the pressure relief region is configured to fracture at the third recess, when an internal pressure of the battery box reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure. According to the battery box, the battery cell, the battery, and the method and apparatus for preparing the battery box disclosed in the present application, the pressure relief region is easy to machine.

The disclosure relates to a secondary battery comprising: a cap assembly comprising a cap plate comprising an electrode lead-out hole and an electrode terminal disposed on the cap plate and covering the electrode lead-out hole; a current collector comprising a main body located at a side of the cap plate and an extending portion extending toward the electrode terminal, wherein the extending portion comprises a top plate connected to the electrode terminal and a side plate connected to the main body, the side plate is at least partially disposed in the electrode lead-out hole, and the side plate and the top plate are configured to form a recess; and an insulating protection component comprising a column portion disposed in the recess, wherein surfaces of the side plate and the top plate which form the recess are in contact with the column portion and covered by the column portion.

The cap assembly comprises: a cap plate having an electrode lead-out hole; an electrode terminal including a terminal plate which is located at a side of the cap plate and covers the electrode lead-out hole, and an outer peripheral surface of the terminal panel protrudes from an inner wall of the electrode lead-out hole; a first fixing member at least partly surrounding the terminal plate to fix the electrode terminal to the first fixing member; and a second fixing member connected with the cap plate and including a main portion, the second fixing member being separated from the electrode terminal by the first fixing member. One of the first fixing member and the main portion is provided with an engaging hole and the other is provided with an inserting portion to be inserted into the engaging hole.
