An indicator circuit for an emergency light, including: a charging circuit, in connection with a positive terminal of a lithium battery and configured to charge the lithium battery; a battery protection circuit, in connection with a negative terminal of the lithium battery and configured to provide protection against overvoltage and overcurrent of an electrical signal output by the lithium battery; a main control circuit, in connection with the negative terminal of the lithium battery and configured to compare the electrical signal output by the lithium battery with a reference voltage signal and output a control signal; and a drive circuit, in connection with the main control circuit and an indicator light, and configured to drive the indicator light to illuminate according to the control signal and turn off the indicator light in case of abnormal conditions.

The sampler is electrically coupled to the illuminating units. The sampler tests at least one electrical property of the illuminating units by using a test signal for generating a feedback parameter. The driver module is electrically coupled to the illumination module. The driver module includes a signal processing unit and a power transformer. The signal processing unit is coupled to the sampler. The signal processing unit generates an operating parameter based on the feedback signal. The power transformer is electrically coupled to the signal processing unit and the illuminating units. The power transformer generates a resulting driving power based on the operating parameter and the initial driving power, and drives the illuminating units using the resulting driving power.

A light sensor includes a fixer tube, a sensor component, and holder. The sensor component is disposed at a bottom terminal of the fixer tube and fixed to the fixer tube. The sensor component senses incident lights. The holder is movably coupled to the fixer tube. The holder encompasses the sensor component. The holder further includes a first opening. The sensor component faces the first opening for receiving incident lights passing through the first opening. The holder further moves along an axis of the fixer tube for adjusting an incident light angle of the sensor component.

In determining luminance, a location of human presence is referred. An infrared sensor detects the human presence in its proximity. The infrared sensor's effective detecting region includes a first region and a second region. The first region is farther from the infrared sensor than the second region is. And the first region surrounds the second region. Second, a first luminance is set for human presence within the first region; a second luminance is set for human presence within the second region; and a third luminance is set for nonoccurrence of human presence within both the first region and the second region. In addition, the second luminance is higher than the first illuminance, and the first illuminance is higher than the third illuminance. Third, an illuminating device is activated by applying the first luminance, the second luminance, or the third luminance, in response to a location of the detected human presence.

Luminance determining method

A self-adaptive illuminating device includes an illuminating unit, a sampling module, a sampling transformation module, a control module and a power transformation module. The sampling module samples at least one electrical property of the illuminating unit to generate a first feedback signal in response to a test signal. The sampling transformation module filters out noises off the first feedback signal for generating a second feedback signal. The control module generates an operation signal that carries at least one operational parameter of the illuminating unit in response to the second feedback signal. The power transformation module generates a drive voltage corresponding to an input voltage and the operation signal. The power transformation module drives the illuminating unit using the drive voltage.
