The method is applied to an electronic device, where the electronic device includes a TOF camera module, and the TOF camera module includes a transmitter configured to transmit a light signal. The method includes: receiving a first operation by a user, where the first operation is used to trigger the TOF camera module to work; controlling the transmitter to work at a first current value; controlling, in a case that the transmitter is working at a first current value, the transmitter to work at a second current value, where the second light intensity is higher than the first light intensity.

Method and apparatus for facial recognition

This application provides a data processing method and an apparatus. The data processing method includes: acquiring a first frame of time-of-flight (TOF) data; processing the first frame of TOF data into a TOF image; and performing face recognition by using the first frame of TOF image to obtain a recognition result. When TOF data is used for face recognition, higher security can be achieved. In addition, the first frame of TOF image is used for face recognition immediately after the first frame of TOF image is obtained, so that the execution speed is high. Because the TOF data is less affected by light, a high-quality TOF image can be obtained even if the first frame of TOF data is used, and therefore, the recognition accuracy is high.

Data processing method and apparatus

Embodiments of this application provide a face recognition method and apparatus, including: obtaining TOF data; processing the TOF data into a TOF image in a TEE; and performing face recognition by using the TOF image, to obtain a recognition result. Because the TOF data is used for face recognition, higher security is achieved. Implementation in the TEE can further improve the security.
