A voice recognition-based dialing method and a voice recognition-based dialing system are provided. The methods includes: determining a recognition result based on a user's voice input, at least one acoustic model and at least one language model, where the at least one acoustic model and the at least one language model are obtained based on information collected in an electronic device. The system includes: obtain at least one acoustic model and at least one language model based on information collected in an electronic device; and determine a recognition result based on a user's voice input, the at least one acoustic model and the at least one language model. The acoustic models and the language models are updated based on the information collected in the electronic device, which may be helpful to the voice recognition-based dialing.

Voice recognition-based dialing

A method for extracting a message from a received signal frame is provided. The method includes: receiving a signal frame having N parts which are modulated with different power levels, where N is an integer equal to or greater than 2; demodulating and decoding the received signal frame to obtain N bit sequences which correspond to the N parts respectively; and forming a message based on the N bit sequences and a partition scheme according to which the message is partitioned into N message parts corresponding to the N bit sequences respectively.

Communication method and system

A navigation system is disclosed. The navigation system includes an image capturing device, a positioning device, and a processing device. The image capturing device is configured to capture an image of an object fed by a user. The positioning device is configured to obtain positioning information of the navigation system. The processing device is configured to: calculate a feature code based on features of a logo in the image; retrieve a piece of address information of a location corresponding to the feature code from a database; and calculate a route from the current location to the location corresponding to the piece of address using the positioning information and the piece of address information. A navigation method is also provided.

A method for receiving a message through a communication network is provided, where the message is partitioned into at least two parts each of which is carried in a corresponding modulated part of a first modulated signal frame, and the at least two modulated parts of the first modulated signal frame have different power levels, the method including: receiving the first modulated signal frame; obtaining control information of the message from the first modulated signal frame; and obtaining the message carried in the first modulated signal frame based on the control information.

A method for broadcasting a message in a vehicular ad hoc network and a vehicle mounted communication system are provided. The method may include: a first communication device mounted on a first vehicle receiving a message from a second vehicle; identifying a first number of vehicles which are within a communication range of the first communication device; calculating a first count-down time based on the first number, where the greater the first number the shorter the first count-down time; and if the first communication device does not receive the message again before the first count-down time ends, broadcasting the message when the first count-down time ends. The efficiency and reliability of message broadcasting may be improved.

A wireless connection pairing method and a first electronic device are provided. The method includes: broadcasting, through an audio system, an acoustic signal which carries pairing information for establishing wireless connection with a first electronic device; the first electronic device receiving from a second electronic device a request for establishing wireless connection with the first electronic device through a wireless network, where the request contains the pairing information extracted from the acoustic signal; and the first electronic device sending a notice of permission to the second electronic device. By employing the method, a mobile device can use connection service conveniently without inputting a password manually.

Methods and systems for communicating a message through a communication network are provided. A method for transmitting a message through a communication network may include: partitioning the message into at least two parts; generating at least two bit sequences each of which carries a corresponding part of the message; modulating the at least two bit sequences to form a modulated signal frame which includes at least two modulated parts corresponding to the at least two bit sequences, respectively, where the at least two modulated parts of the modulated signal frame have different power levels; and transmitting the modulated signal frame through the communication network.

Method and system for obtaining on-line service are provided. The method may include: a vehicle mounted system sending a first piece of information about its capability and a request for an on-line service to a mobile communication device connected to the vehicle mounted system; and the vehicle mounted system receiving contents of the on-line service from the mobile communication device, where the contents of the on-line service are obtained by processing to match the capability of the vehicle mounted system. Computation load of the vehicle mounted system may be reduced and more utilization may be realized.
