Laser additive manufacturing and a method for preparing thin-walled preforms by laser metal deposition and follow-up rolling. This can solve the problems that when the existing laser metal deposition technology prepares the thin-walled preforms, the limit width size of a molten pool at high power affects the forming wall thickness of the preforms so that it is difficult to prepare preforms with wall thickness less than 2 mm, and the problems of poor surface quality and low accuracy of preforms due to convex and concave peaks caused by the interlayer overlapping, but also can solve the problems that a laser beam with a preset trajectory cannot act on the end surfaces of the preforms due to preform deformation caused by residual stress in a printing process so that the preforms cannot be continuously formed.

Method for preparing thin-walled preforms by laser metal deposition and follow-up rolling

The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a thin-walled metal component by three-dimensional (3D) printing and hot gas bulging. The present invention uses 3D printing to obtain a complex thin-walled preform, which reduces a deformation during subsequent hot gas bulging. The present invention avoids local bulging thinning and cracking, undercuts at the parting during die closing, and wrinkles due to the uneven distribution of cross-sectional materials, etc. The present invention obtains a high accuracy in the form and dimension through hot gas bulging. After a desired shape is obtained by hot gas bulging, a die is closed to keep the component under high temperature and high pressure for a period of time, so that a grain and a phase of the material are transformed to form a desired microstructure.

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a curved thin-walled intermetallic compound component by winding a mandrel with metal foil strips, which comprises the following steps: designing a prefabricated blank; preparing a support mandrel; determining thicknesses and layer numbers of foil strips; determining widths of the foil strips; establishing a laying process; pretreating surfaces of the foil strips; laying A foil and B foil; carrying out bulge forming on the prefabricated blank; carrying out diffusion reaction and densification treatment on a bulged component; and carrying out subsequent treatment of a thin-walled component. The present invention can solve the problems that impurities generated in the separation process of a support mould and a laminated foil prefabricated blank influence the final performance of a part, and a single homogeneous intermetallic compound component in thickness direction has poor plasticity and toughness at room temperature.

An integrated method for manufacturing a high-temperature resistant thin-walled component by preforming by laying a metal foil strip. The integrated manufacturing method includes: designing a preform, preparing a support die, determining a thickness of a foil strip, determining a width of the foil strip, developing a laying process, laying an A foil strip and a B foil strip, obtaining an AB laminated preform, bulging the preform, performing a reactive synthesis and a densification process of a bulged component, and performing a subsequent treatment of the thin-walled component. Various embodiments obtain an integral thin-walled preform with a complex structure, a uniform wall thickness and a shape close to the final part by continuously laying a metal foil strip with an appropriate width.
