An oral care implement handle () having a gripping portion () and an oral care refill head () that is detachably coupled thereto. The oral care implement handle () may include the gripping portion () and a rocker unit () which includes a stem (), a motor (), and a motor chassis (). The rocker unit () may be pivotably mounted within the gripping portion () so that upon pressure being applied an oral care refill head () which is coupled to the stem () that exceeds a pressure threshold, the rocker unit () may be altered from a normal position to an excessive pressure position. When in the excessive pressure position, the rocker unit () may actuate an actuator element () of a control unit () to initiate generation of a user perceptible signal.

A personal care product (e.g., an electric toothbrush) may include a treating portion (e.g., cleaning elements) configured to clean one or more teeth of a user of the personal care product. The personal care product may include a handle used for gripping the personal care product. A communication interface may be configured to receive signals from one or more digital devices. The received signals may include a user profile. The user profile may include an identity (e.g., identity of the user profile) and/or instructions for operating the personal care product. A processor may be configured to receive the user profile from the communication interface. The processor may be configured to cause the personal care product to perform operations according to the instructions of the user profile.

The oral care implement may include a central bristle tuft extending from a central portion of the bristle bearing surface, the central bristle tuft terminating in a domed distal surface. Each of the perimetric bristle tufts may have an inclined distal surface that slopes downward towards the central bristle tuft. The bristle bearing surface of the head may have a total surface area (TSA), and the toothbrush may include a tooth cleaning element field having X number of tooth cleaning elements that collectively occupy a total cleaning element area (TCEA) such that and Z is in a range of 0.04 to 0.065.

In the exemplified embodiment, the cleaning elements have a plurality of bristle tufts each including a plurality of bristle filaments. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a first bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being taller than the inner filaments and a second bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being shorter than the inner filaments. The first bristle tufts may be arranged on the head in a position so as to surround the second bristle tufts, or the second bristle tufts may be arranged on the head in a position so as to surround the first bristle tufts. Distal ends of the first and second bristle tufts may be angled.
