Methods, systems, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for processing user-defined functions in containers. One example system receives a query written in a primary query language that calls a user-defined function. The system assigns primary segment hosts to process portions of the query written in the primary query language and assigns first containers to process the call to the user-defined function. The primary segment hosts provide to the first containers the user-defined function and one or more arguments in the call to the user-defined function. The first containers execute the user-defined function. The primary segment hosts receive an initial result of the call to the user-defined function computed by the first containers. The primary segment hosts compute a final result of the query using the initial result. The primary segment hosts provide the final result of the query in response to receiving the query.

Container framework for user-defined functions

An infrared range-measurement device includes an emitting module, a receiving module and a calculating module, the emitting module includes an emitting light source and a driving circuit, and the receiving module includes a planar array photosensitive chip. The surfactant of the present invention can reduce the oil-water interfacial tension, transform the oil-wet surface into water-wet surface, which reduces the adhesion of oil droplets to rock surface and improves the flowability of crude oil in the original stratum, and improves the recovery of low-permeability reservoir.

If the breakpoint is reached from outside of the component, the program executed by the debugger stops. Global metadata, such as a document identifier, which may be a globally unique identifier, is embedded into an embedded interactive code document by combining a first m-array and a plurality of copies of the first m-array to generate a combined m-array with encoded global metadata such that respective start positions (x, y)of the plurality of copies of the first m-array in the combined m-array are each shifted, by respective amounts that are based on respective portions of the global metadata, relative to a start position of the first m-array in the combined m-array. Global metadata may be decoded from the combined m-array by determining the respective amounts by which the plurality of copies of the first m-array are shifted, relative to the first m-array, in the combined m-array and by combining the respective amounts to produce a decoded value of the global metadata.

Processes and apparatuses print documents containing embedded interactive code (EIC) information by the use of custom postscript commands that are printer independent, with little overhead when printing, smaller print file size, and faster print times. In order to determine the postscript commands, the EIC array may be represented as a bit for every point, as EIC symbols in which each kind of EIC symbol is a glyph of a font, or as graphics procedures. The postscript approach may be selected based on memory and printing time requirements.

A system and method for encoding a document image and finding a location based on that image are described. A document page is encoded into codes associated with various locations of the document page. The codes are assembled into a code book. Captured images may then be similarly encoded and searched against the codes in the codebook. One or more codes and associated locations may be returned, thereby providing one or more possible locations for the captured images.

Passive embedded interaction coding

Methods and apparatuses that synchronize a paper document to an associated digital document by establishing a mapping. An embedded interactive code (EIC) Document is created as a digital file that serves as an intermediate tier between the paper document and the digital document. Both the paper document and the EIC document are generated while printing the paper document. The EIC document records the corresponding EIC array allocations and a unique document identification number. An image capturing pen may generate a stroke on any page of paper document. With the EIC document, the methods and apparatuses inform an application the page and location on the page of the stroke.

Embedded interaction code document

In accordance with embodiments of the invention, embedded interaction code (EIC) symbols are recognized. EIC dots are generated based on effective EIC symbols, which have been generated by processing an image containing the EIC symbols, by obtaining graylevels of selected positions of the EIC-symbols. Rotated EIC dots are generated based on the EIC dots by determining which grid cells correspond to the EIC symbols and by determining which direction is a correct orientation of the EIC symbols. A homography matrix is updated with orientation information based on the EIC dots. EIC bits are extracted from the rotated EIC dots based on graylevels of selected positions of the rotated EIC dots.

Embedded interaction code recognition

A method and apparatus for capturing information encoded within a surface, such as location information or document metadata, and associating the information with a document is described. The captured information may be obtained by a camera associated with a pointing or writing device having a camera, such as an image-capturing pen.

Stroke localization and binding to electronic document

A mechanism for recognizing and inputting handwritten mathematical expressions into a computer by providing a multi-path framework is described. The framework may include symbol grouping and recognition, tabular structure analysis, subordinate sub-expression analysis, subscript/superscript analysis and character determination, and semantic structure analysis components. A method for recognizing a handwritten mathematical expression includes receiving a plurality of input strokes corresponding to a handwritten mathematical expression and providing a candidate list of recognized candidate expressions based upon the input strokes. Input strokes are grouped into symbols, tabular structures are determined, dominant symbol candidates and subordinate symbols are determined, and subscript and superscript structures are determined.

In accordance with embodiments of the invention, local metadata is embedded into an embedded interactive code document by combining a first m-array and a second m-array to generate a combined m-array with encoded local metadata such that a start position of the second m-array in the combined m-array is shifted, by an amount that is based on the local metadata, relative to a start position of the first m-array in the combined m-array. The first m-array and the second m-array may contain the same repeating bit sequence. Local metadata may be decoded from the embedded interactive code document by decoding the local metadata from the combined m-array by determining the amount by which the second m-array is shifted, relative to the first m-array, in the combined m-array.
