A microfluidics acoustic pump system includes a flow passage configured to carry a fluid from one location to another, a selectively vibrating flow generator having a sharp edge, and a driving device configured to vibrate one of the flow generator and the flow passage to create a streaming fluid flow in a direction away from the sharp edge through the flow passage.

An acoustic streaming valve arrangement induces flow in a glaucoma drainage device. The arrangement may include a selectively vibrating flow generator having a sharp edge and a driving device configured to selectively vibrate the flow generator to create a streaming fluid flow in a direction away from the sharp edge.

Acoustic streaming fluid ejector

A trabecular flow model for producing treatment recommendations for patients with elevated intraocular pressure is disclosed. One method includes providing intraocular pressure measurements for a patient; providing aqueous cavity information, such as collector channel resistance and Schlemm's canal resistance, and determining a treatment recommendation for the patient based on the aforementioned parameters.
