The present invention discloses a microencapsuled conjugated linoleic acid glyceride powder and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps of preparing raw materials, preparing an aqueous phase and an oil phase, preparing an emulsion, and spray drying. The raw materials comprise, in parts by mass: 60-85 parts of conjugated linoleic acid glyceride, 5-35 parts of starch or colloid, 4-20 parts of small molecule filler, and 0.01-5 parts of antioxidant.

Microencapsulation of &#x3b2;-alanine uses &#x3b2;-alanine as a core material and a mixture of a wall material and an additive as a release material. The additive comprises: a fatty acid-based saturated or unsaturated fatty acid glyceride containing 12-22 carbon atoms and a phospholipid. The fatty acid glyceride is a mono-fatty acid glyceride or a di-fatty acid glyceride, or a mixture formed by mixing the mono-fatty acid glyceride and the di-fatty acid glyceride at arbitrary proportions. The microencapsulation technique solves problems occurring with the use of &#x3b2;-alanine as a raw material, such as high moisture absorption tendency thereof, unpleasant smell and stinging accompanying administration of the same. The invention selects and combines the wall material and the additive to attain a balance between embedment and release with respect to a microencapsulated &#x3b2;-alanine product, and effectively optimizes release kinetics of the product, thereby enabling a stable release of the product, and realizing effective embedment and uniform release. Therefore, the microencapsulated &#x3b2;-alanine is applicable to the preparation of food, drugs, health-enhancing products and functional food.

The invention relates to a microencapsulated amino acid composition and methods of manufacturing this composition. Amino acids, such as branched-chain amino acids, have low water solubility, poor hydrophilicity, and poor stability. Amino acids are thus difficult to be digested and absorbed. Consequently amino acids can hardly meet human needs of consuming. This microencapsulated amino acid composition that can quickly disperse and dissolve in cold water, resulting clear solution. The method includes (1) adding coating agents, wetting agents, or other excipients to the amino acid mixture, (2) modifying the surface of microencapsulated particles to considerably accelerate the wetting speed. In this composition, the weight ratio of amino acids and excipients is from 100/0.1 to 100/10.0.
