A sheath for loading and retrieving a prosthetic implant is disclosed, which includes a tube. The tube has opposing distal and proximal ends in its axial direction, and the distal end has a plurality of support rods arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the tube and having relative converged and flared configurations. A plurality of connecting strips are provided in the axial direction between two adjacent support rods, and each connecting strip is folded back and forth in the converged configuration and tends to be straightened in the flared configuration relative to the converged configuration. The straightened lengths of the connecting strips increase sequentially from the proximal end to the distal end, and two ends of each connecting strip are connected to the support rods on the corresponding sides and the connecting portions have the same axial level.

Sheath for loading and retracting prosthetic implant and delivery system

A sheath facilitating retraction of prosthetic implant is provided. The sheath includes a tubular body, and the distal end of the body is connected with an expandable section. The expandable section has relative converged configuration and flared configuration and includes a primary expandable area and a secondary expandable area. The primary expandable area includes a plurality of first expandable pieces arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the body. The secondary expandable area includes a plurality of second expandable pieces arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the body, and all the second expandable pieces include two alternating groups consisting of a first group formed by further extending the first expandable pieces to the distal end and a second group formed by connecting strips wound between two adjacent first expandable pieces.

Sheath facilitating retraction of prosthetic implant and delivery system

An expandable sheath for transcatheter delivery system is disclosed, including a tube having opposing distal and proximal ends in its axial direction. The distal end is provided with a plurality of support rods arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the tube, and the support rods extending axially and having relative converged and flared configurations. More than two connecting strips are provided in the axial direction between two adjacent support rods. The connecting strip extends in a curved path and undulates in the circumferential direction, and undulation degrees of the connecting strips increase sequentially from the proximal end to the distal end. The connecting strip has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion respectively connected with two adjacent support rods in the circumferential direction, and the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are located at different axial levels of the tube.

The present invention discloses a core assembly, a sheath assembly, a sheath, a sheath processing method and an interventional instrument delivery system and method. A core assembly for delivering an interventional instrument according to the present invention comprises a core tube, a locking member fixed at a distal end of the core tube for connecting the interventional instrument, and a bendable adjustable tube mounted around an outer periphery of the core tube, wherein the distal ends of the bendable adjustable tube and the core tube are fixedly connected to each other, and the proximal ends can slide relative to each other.

Sheath for delivering interventional instrument and sheath assembly

A distal end structure of a sheath for delivering an interventional instrument includes a tubular body section which has opposite distal and proximal sides. A plurality of elastic expansion pieces is arranged circumferentially at the distal side of the body section at intervals. Each expansion piece assumes a converged configuration extending in an axial direction of the body section and a flared configuration away from each other. A connecting strip is provided between two adjacent expansion pieces, and two ends of the connecting strip are respectively connected to expansion pieces at respective sides at connection positions adjacent to distal ends of the expansion pieces. In the converged configuration of each expansion piece, a middle portion of the connecting strip is folded and received in a region between two adjacent expansion pieces; and in the flared configuration of each expansion piece, the middle portion of the connecting strip is unfolded.
