A method for a system to generate a recipe for performing wafer alignment, includes: generating first and second alignment data sets, the first alignment data set including image information regarding a first site on a wafer and coordinates of characteristic points at the first site, and the second alignment data set including image information regarding a second site different than the first site on the wafer and coordinates of characteristic points at the second site; and saving the generated first and second alignment data sets as a recipe for wafer alignment; wherein the generating of the first alignment data set includes: selecting, as the first site, a site including a characteristic pattern on the wafer; determining first and second characteristic points at the selected site; and recording coordinates of the determined first and second characteristic points.

Method and system for wafer alignment

A method and system for detecting and processing a series of video frames includes receiving the series of video frames, determining whether the video frames are associated with a recognized non-video source, and depending on the determination, processing the video frames using a variety of techniques. A system may detect whether each video frame is a repeat frame or a new original frame, keep the new original frames, discard the repeat frames, and then adjust one or more timestamps associated with the new original frames so as to conform to an intermediate frame rate. The frame indexes and timestamps associated with the new original frames are stored in a FIFO or buffer. The system can interpolate video frames using the stored timestamps, and output a series of video frames. The output video stream is delivered at any frame rate and can include original video frames and interpolated video frames.

System and method for processing assorted video signals

A method for processing wafers includes learning a first pattern at a de-skew site on a first wafer layer, saving the first patterns in a recipe for de-skewing wafers, learning a second pattern at the de-skew site a second wafer layer, and saving the second pattern in the same recipe for de-skewing wafers. Learning the first pattern may include determining a score of uniqueness for the first pattern. The method further includes finding the de-skew site on the second wafer layer using the first pattern before learning the second pattern. Finding the de-skew site includes determining a score of similarity between the first pattern and the second pattern. Learning the second pattern is performed when the score of similarity is less than a threshold value. A recipe for de-skewing wafers includes multiple patterns of a de-skew site of a wafer, wherein the patterns include a first pattern at the de-skew site on a first wafer layer and a second pattern at the de-skew site on a second wafer layer.

A computer readable memory to direct a computer to improve the perceived audio quality of a speaker included in that computer. The computer readable memory stores a first, second and third set of instructions. The first set of instructions causes the computer to determine the speaker type. The second set of instructions causes the computer to select a set of default filter coefficients for a digital filter based upon the speaker type. Finally, the third set of instructions causes the computer to realize a digital parametric equalizer using a digital filter and the set of default filter coefficients. Thus, the digital filter alters the audio signal that is input to the speaker, thereby improving the perceived quality of the speaker.
