The present application provides, among other things, compounds and methods for metathesis reactions. In some embodiments, a provided compound has the structure of formula I, II or III. In some embodiments, Rof formula I, II or III comprises an electron-withdrawing group. In some embodiments, the present invention provides methods for preparing provided compounds.
