An electrical connector () comprising a housing () defining a front face and a first mating cavity recessed rearward from the front face for receiving a modular plug, an electronic module () mounted to the housing, a horizontal PCB () mounted under the electronic module, and an outer shell () shielding the electronic module and the housing. The electronic module has a vertical PCB() which includes a ground trace () joined to a conductor () that extends through a plated hole in the vertical PCB and that is connected to a conductive pin () of the outer shell through a conductive trace () of the horizontal PCB ().

An electrical connector () mounted on a printed circuit board (), the electrical connector includes an insulative housing () having a number of conductive members () and a LED device () disposed therein. Each conductive member includes a conductive pad () electrically connected with the printed circuit board. The LED device includes a LED () and a number of tail portions () electrically interconnected with the LED. The tail portions are soldered on the conductive pads of the conductive members.
