A capacitor structure, including a transistor structure, a first metal conductive structure and a second metal conductive structure, is provided. The transistor structure includes a first ladder-shaped frame of a polycrystalline silicon layer and multiple first metal strips of a first metal layer. The first ladder-shaped frame is electrically isolated from the multiple first metal strips, and encircles a part of the multiple first metal strips. The first ladder-shaped frame forms a gate of the transistor structure. The multiple first metal strips form a drain and a source of the transistor structure. The first metal conductive structure is substantially overlapped with the first ladder-shaped frame. The second metal conductive structure is electrically connected to the multiple first metal strips, in which the second metal conductive structure is disposed across and electrically isolated from the first ladder-shaped frame and the first metal conductive structure.

Compact capacitor structure

The invention provides a three-dimensional force flexible tactile sensor and a fabrication method and a decoupling method thereof. The three-dimensional force flexible tactile sensor includes a first flexible layer, a porous elastic layer and a second flexible layer which are arranged in sequence. The first flexible layer is provided with a plurality of first electrodes. The second flexible layer is provided with a second electrode. The first electrodes and the second electrode are both clung to the porous elastic layer. The sensor not only can detect normal mechanical load, but also can measure the force tangent to the surface of the sensor, thereby realizing the detection of the three-dimensional force.

A receiving circuit of a deserializer is provided. The receiving circuit of the deserializer receives an input signal and includes: a signal receiving terminal for receiving the input signal; a link equalizer circuit (LEQ) having a first input terminal coupled to the signal receiving terminal; and an out-of-band signaling (OOBS) circuit having a second input terminal coupled to the signal receiving terminal; a first resistor coupled between the signal receiving terminal and a first reference voltage; and a second resistor coupled between the signal receiving terminal and a second reference voltage; and a buffer circuit having a third input terminal and an output terminal, wherein the third input terminal receives a voltage, and the output terminal is coupled to the LEQ or the OOBS circuit. The first input terminal of the LEQ and the second input terminal of the OOBS circuit are not electrically coupled, and the voltage is adjustable.

A clock device includes a first phase interpolator circuit, a detector circuit, and a digital controller circuitry. The first phase interpolator circuit generates a second reference clock signal according to a first control signal and at least one first reference clock signal. The detector circuit generates an error signal according to a difference between a receiver signal and the second reference clock signal, in which the receiver signal is a receiver clock signal from a receiver circuit or an input signal that has been equalized by the receiver circuit. The digital controller circuitry generates the first control signal and a second control signal according to the error signal, and updates the second control signal according to a change of the first control signal, in which the second control signal is for generating a transmitter clock signal of a transmitter circuit.

Clock control device and clock control method

A gain modulation circuit includes a load circuit, a differential circuit, a current source, a resistor, a first transistor, and a detector circuit. The load circuit is configured to receive a supply voltage. The differential circuit is coupled to the load circuit. The differential circuit and the load circuit are configured to generate a pair of output voltages according to a pair of input voltages and the supply voltage. The current source is coupled to the differential circuit. The resistor is coupled to the differential circuit and the current source. The first transistor is coupled to the differential circuit. The detector circuit is configured to generate a detection signal according to the pair of input voltages. A turned-on degree of the first transistor is adjusted based on the detection signal, to adjust a linear region of the gain modulation circuit.

Gain modulation circuit

A bias circuitry includes a simulation circuit and a level shifter circuit. The simulation circuit is configured to simulate circuit architecture of a processing circuitry, in which the processing circuitry is biased by a bias signal, in order to generate output signals according to input signals. The level shifter circuit is configured to increase a voltage difference between a first node and a second node of the simulation circuit, in which the first node is for tracking an output common mode voltage of the output signals, and the second node is for outputting the bias signal.

Bias circuitry and biasing method

Disclosed is a clock generating circuit capable of operating in an analog clock data recovery (ACDR) mode to reduce the loop latency or a clock multiplication unit (CMU) mode to suppress reference jitter. The circuit includes a filter and an oscillator. The filter receives an input signal to determine voltages of a first node and a second node respectively and includes a first filtering circuit and a second filtering circuit coupled in parallel between the first node and a reference voltage terminal. The second filtering circuit includes a switch and a capacitor connected in series, wherein the second node is between the switch and capacitor, and the switch is turned off in the ACDR mode and turned on in the CMU mode. The oscillator outputs a clock according to the first node's voltage in the ACDR mode or according to the second node's voltage in the CMU mode.

Clock generating circuit and hybrid circuit

Disclosed is a clock data recovery (CDR) device including a master lane circuit and a plurality of slave lane circuits. The master lane circuit includes: a clock multiplication unit including a phase frequency detector (PFD), a charge pump (CP), a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), and a loop divider; a master lane sampling circuit; a master lane phase detector (PD); and a master lane multiplexer coupled between the master lane PD and the CP and between the PFD and the CP. Each slave lane circuit includes: a slave lane sampling circuit (SLS); a slave lane PD; a slave lane digital loop filter; a phase rotator (PR); and a slave lane multiplexer coupled between the VCO and the SLS and between the PR and the SLS, in which the master lane multiplexer and the slave lane multiplexers are configured to have the CDR device operate in one of multiple modes.

Clock data recovery device

Disclosed is a Serializer/Deserializer physical layer circuit (SerDes PHY) for receiving and transmitting data in a half-duplex manner, the SerDes PHY including: a clock multiplication unit including a phase frequency detector (PFD), a charge pump (CP), a low pass filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and a loop divider; a sampling circuit sampling a received signal according to clocks from the VCO in a receive mode; a phase detector (PD) operating according to outputs of the sampling circuit; a multiplexer connecting the PD with the CP and disconnecting the PFD from the CP in the receive mode, and connecting the PFD with the CP and disconnecting the PD from the CP in a transmission mode; a parallel-to-serial converter converting parallel data into serial data according a clock from the VCO in the transmission mode; and a transmission driver outputting a transmission signal according to the serial data in the transmission mode.

Serializer/deserializer physical layer circuit

A half-rate clock data recovery circuit includes: a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for generating a data sampling clock and an edge sampling clock according to a control voltage; an adjusting circuit for dynamically controlling the VCO to adjust the phase difference between the data sampling clock and the edge sampling clock to be different from 90 degrees in multiple test periods; and a control circuit for instructing the adjusting circuit to respectively utilize different control value combinations to control the VCO in the multiple test periods, and for recording multiple recovered-signal quality indicators respectively corresponding to the multiple test periods. Afterwards, the control circuit instructs the adjusting circuit to utilize a control value combination corresponding to the best quality indicator among the multiple recovered-signal quality indicators to control the VCO.

Half-rate clock data recovery circuit

A leakage current suppressing circuit includes a bias generating unit and a switch unit. The bias generating unit is adapted to be coupled to a power source and an output terminal, and generates a bias voltage substantially equal to a voltage at the power source when the power source is turned on, and substantially equal to a voltage at the output terminal when the power source is turned off. The switch unit includes a first P-type transistor having a first terminal adapted to be coupled to the power source, a second terminal adapted to be coupled to the output terminal, a gate terminal, and a body terminal coupled to the bias generating unit for receiving the bias voltage therefrom.
