In some examples, an apparatus includes a filter, a voltage-to-current conversion circuit, a first current source, a second current source, a capacitor, a comparator, and a buffer. The filter has a first input voltage (VIN) input and a filter output. The voltage-to-current conversion circuit has a first input, a second VIN input, and a current output, the first input coupled to the filter output. The first current source is coupled between the current output and ground terminal. The second current source is coupled between a power terminal and the current output. The capacitor is coupled between the current output and ground terminal. The comparator has a comparator output, a comparator input, and a reference voltage (Vref) input, the comparator input coupled to the current output. The buffer has a buffer input and a buffer output, the buffer input coupled to the comparator output.

Adaptive start-up control circuit

Load disconnect techniques for boost converters. In an example, a power converter includes a driver circuit, a control circuit, and a comparator circuit. During normal boost operation (VIN<VOUT), the comparator circuit disables the control circuit and enables the driver circuit, which in turn fully turns on a high-side switching element during high-side on-phase. In contrast, during start-up operation or an output short-to-ground condition (VIN≥VOUT), the comparator circuit disables the driver circuit and enables the control circuit, which in turn controls the gate voltage of the high-side switching element, so the current through the switching element is regulated, and the switching node voltage is regulated to about a threshold voltage higher than VIN. In this manner, the comparator circuit controls the driver circuit and the control circuit, which in turn allow the boost converter to operate in a normal fashion even when VIN is higher than VOUT.

Load disconnect boost converter

In described examples, a boost converter includes an inductor, a voltage input, a current regulator, an intermediate node, a transistor, and a regulation circuit. The inductor has first and second terminals. The voltage input provides an input voltage, and is coupled to the first inductor terminal. The current regulator has current regulator input and output. The current regulator input is coupled to the second inductor terminal. The current regulator allows current to flow from the current regulator input to the current regulator output, and not vice versa. The intermediate node provides a node voltage. The transistor includes a source, a drain, and a gate. The drain is coupled to the current regulator output via the intermediate node. The regulation circuit includes a first regulation input coupled to receive the input voltage, a second regulation input coupled to the intermediate node, and a regulation output coupled to the gate.

Output regulated boost converter

A communication apparatus and an electronic device for implementing multi-carrier aggregation are provided. The communication apparatus includes a transceiver and an antenna array. The transceiver is coupled to a plurality of radio frequency channels, and the plurality of radio frequency channels are coupled to all antenna units in the antenna array in a one-to-one manner. Each of the plurality of radio frequency channels includes a phase shifter, and the phase shifter is configured to set a phase of a radio frequency signal transmitted in the radio frequency channel. The antenna array includes a plurality of first antenna units and a plurality of second antenna units. The plurality of first antenna units are configured to transmit a plurality of radio frequency signals of a first band, to form a first carrier signal pointing to a first direction.

Voltage converter with average input current control and input-to-output isolation

A boost converter that provides a wide average current limiting range includes a switch coupled to an inductor output and a power input, a diode coupled to the inductor output and an output terminal load and configured to conduct current in only one direction away from the inductor output and toward the output terminal, a clamp circuit coupled to the diode and the switch, and a minimum time off module coupled to the diode and the switch. The clamp circuit is configured to clamp an inductor output current to a reference current while the converter is operating in a continuous conduction mode (CCM) of operation. The minimum time off module is configured to cause the inductor output current to be zero for at least a time Twhile the converter is operating in a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode of operation.

Boost converter with wide average current limiting range

The present invention discloses a radio frequency receiver and a receiving method, where the method includes: performing band splitting on a radio frequency signal of multiple carriers to obtain at least one band signal, and outputting the signal; separately performing filtering and amplification processing on the at least one band signal to obtain at least one processed signal; generating multiple oscillation signals; and selectively receiving a processed signal, of the at least one processed signal, that includes a target carrier; receiving an oscillation signal corresponding to the target carrier; selectively selecting a frequency division ratio from multiple frequency division ratios; using the frequency division ratio to perform frequency division on the received oscillation signal to obtain a local oscillator signal; using the local oscillator signal to perform frequency mixing on the received processed signal that includes the target carrier to obtain a mixed signal.

Radio frequency receiver and receiving method

A voltage converter having a voltage input and a voltage output, the voltage converter including a first and second transistors and an average current control circuit. The first transistor has a first control input, a first current terminal, and a second current terminal. The first current terminal is adapted to be coupled to a switch node. The second transistor has a second control input, a third current terminal, and a fourth current terminal. The third current terminal is adapted to be coupled to an inductor. The average current control circuit is coupled to the third current terminal and the fourth current terminal. The average current control circuit is configured to determine an average current level of current flowing through the second transistor and to control a voltage on the first control input of the first terminal based on the determined average current level.

A boost converter includes an input terminal, an output terminal, a switching terminal, a low-side transistor, and a down-mode detection circuit. The low-side transistor is coupled to the switching terminal. The down-mode detection circuit is coupled to the low-side transistor. The down-mode detection circuit is configured to detect a voltage at the output terminal greater than a voltage at the input terminal, and turn off the low-side transistor based on the voltage at the output terminal being greater than the voltage at the input terminal.

A DC-DC converter control circuit includes an error amplifier, a voltage-to-current conversion circuit, an oscillator circuit, and a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) control circuit. The error amplifier is configured to generate a difference voltage as a difference of an output voltage of the DC-DC converter circuit and a reference voltage. The voltage-to-current conversion circuit configured to convert the difference voltage to a difference current. The oscillator circuit is configured to generate a clock signal at a predetermined frequency for pulse width modulation. The PFM control circuit is configured to disable the oscillator circuit, based on the difference current, for PFM operation.

The transistor has a control input and first and second transistor current terminals. The first current terminal is coupled to the inductor. Methods, apparatus and circuits to control timing for hysteretic current-mode boost converters

A diversity receiver and a terminal are provided. The diversity receiver includes a first main channel and a first diversity channel, the first main channel includes an antenna diplexer and a first main transmission channel, and the first diversity channel includes a tunable bandpass filter and a first diversity receiving channel. The first diversity receiving channel is coupled to a diversity antenna by using the tunable bandpass filter, and the tunable bandpass filter is configured to: adjust a passband bandwidth of the tunable bandpass filter according to a band bandwidth of a first transmit signal generated by the first main transmission channel and a band bandwidth of a first receive signal received from the diversity antenna, and perform bandpass filtering based on the passband bandwidth on the first receive signal.
