A state-of-charge (SOC) online estimation method of an intelligent battery includes steps of performing online estimation on the SOC based on a real-time estimation model, wherein the real-time estimation model is based on an equivalent circuit model, and then obtaining online estimates of the SOC through the SOC-OCV (open circuit voltage) relationship, the current-voltage relationship under different working conditions, and the current terminal voltage and temperature of the intelligent battery. Techniques are described herein for training a search query intent classifier using wiki article titles and a search click log. Titles of wiki articles that correspond to links that are associated with a specified wiki article and/or titles of wiki articles that are included in a category that includes the specified wiki article are extracted and included with the title of the specified wiki article in an initial set. Each title in the initial set is correlated with respective clicked URI(s) using a search click log. The initial set is expanded to include search terms that are correlated to the clicked URIs based on the search click log to provide an expanded set. The search query intent classifier is trained to classify search queries with respect to a query intent that is associated with the title of the specified wiki article based on the expanded set.

In the method for managing data of a file in a file system, a storage space for storing the data of the file is divided into a plurality of blocks of identical size and sequentially numbered, wherein said blocks being organized in sequentially numbered chunks. And each chunk comprises at least one block. For a chunk, use first management data and second management data to record the size of space not occupied by data in the head part of the first block and in the end part of the last block of each chunk, subsequently to a deletion step of data within the file, the size of space being smaller than the size of a block.

Embodiments employ knowledge from network searches to enrich features useable to describe an advertisement. Advertisement content may be segmented to generate key phrases that are rank ordered based on a phrase's pointwise mutual information value with Ad keywords and term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) scores. These key phrases are employed to generate a plurality of query searches that are performed to generate a plurality of search result snippets. The snippets are then analyzed and ranked to identify query expansion features having a TF-IDF value over a given threshold. A subset of these ranked phrases are combined with the Ad keywords to be used to rebuild an Ad index for the given advertisement. When content is to be delivered to a client device, content keywords are compared to the Ad index to select an advertisement to be provided with the content to the client device.

Systems and methods to determine relevant keywords from a user's search query sessions are disclosed. The described method includes identifying search session logs of a user, segmenting the search session logs into one or more search sessions. After the segmentation, the search sessions are analyzed to compose a list of semantically relevant keyword sets including at least a first keyword set and a second keyword set. The described method further includes determining a semantic relevance between the first and second keyword sets according to the frequency at which the first and second keyword sets are reported in the query results and displaying one or more semantically high relevant keyword sets after being filtered by a threshold.

The techniques employ an offline training portion, an online prediction portion, and an attribute identification algorithm. The online prediction portion predicts, for each sentence input, the attributes of the sentence, and the number of attributes the sentence is associated with by employing the attribute identification algorithm.

A topic identification system identifies topics of online discussions by iteratively identifying topic words or keywords of the online discussions and identifying language patterns associated with those keywords. The topic identification system starts out with an initial set of keywords and identifies language patterns that each include a keyword. The topic identification system then uses the identified language patterns to identify additional keywords of the online discussion that match the patterns. The topic identification system then again identifies language patterns using the keywords including the newly identified keywords. The topic identification system may repeat the process of identifying language patterns and keywords until a termination criterion is satisfied.
