The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery and a method of manufacturing the secondary battery. The secondary battery includes: a case; an electrode assembly, accommodated in the case and including a main body and a tab connected to the main body; a cap plate, coupled to the case; an electrode terminal, located on an outer side of the cap plate and including a first metal layer and a second metal layer disposed one on top of another; and a current collecting member, connected between the tab and the electrode terminal.

Secondary battery and method of manufacturing the secondary battery

A wound-type cell includes a first electrode plate; a second electrode plate; a separator, disposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; a first electrode tab electrically connected to the first electrode plate; and a second electrode tab electrically connected to the second electrode plate, in which the separator includes a third winding start end, the third winding start end is folded back to an inner side in a thickness direction and is disposed between the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab in a length direction.

Wound-type cell

The present disclosure provides a wound-type cell which includes: a first electrode plate; a second electrode plate; a separator disposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; a first electrode tab electrically connected to the first electrode plate; and a second electrode tab electrically connected to the second electrode plate; in which a third winding start end of the separator is positioned at an outer side of a second winding start end of the second electrode plate in a length direction; the third winding start end extends along a direction away from a second end of the second winding start end and the third winding start end is not folded back.

A secondary battery comprises a cell. The cell includes a positive electrode plate having a positive current collector and a negative electrode plate having a negative current collector. The secondary battery further includes: a first positive electrode tab and a second positive electrode tab, one end of the first positive electrode tab is fixed on and electrically connects with the positive current collector, the other end of the first positive electrode tab extends to the outside of the cell; and/or, a first negative electrode tab and a second negative electrode tab, one end of the first negative electrode tab is fixed on and electrically connects with the negative current collector, the other end of the first negative electrode tab extends to the outside of the cell, one end of the second negative electrode tab is fixed on and electrically connects with the other end of the first negative electrode tab.
