The present application provides a method for displaying information, and a terminal equipment. The method for displaying information comprises: detecting whether a display screen of a terminal equipment switches from a screen-off state to a screen-on state when the display screen is in the screen-off state; displaying at least one information card on the display screen after it is detected that the display screen switches from the screen-off state to the screen-on state, wherein, the at least one information card includes information for informative purpose obtained from a network side, and the size of the at least one information card is smaller than that of the display screen. In the present solution, information for informative purpose is pushed to a user in the form of cards when a screen switches from a screen-off to a screen-on, such that the user can browse the information for informative purpose during the fragmented spare time when the screen switches between the screen-on and the screen-off, thereby improving the usage of fragmented spare time of users.

Method for displaying information, and terminal equipment

Embodiments of the present application provide an application program uninstallation method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving an uninstallation instruction for a target application program (S); deleting a specific directory in a local device to which the target application program corresponds, according to the received uninstallation instruction (S); extracting an identifier of the target application program (S); searching a local pre-set directory residual database to determine whether there exist any directory data that correspond to the identifier (S), the directory data comprising at least a directory path; if such directory data exist, deleting a directory in the local device to which the directory path found corresponds, according to the search result (S). By applying the embodiments of the present application, when the specific directory corresponding to the uninstalled application program is deleted, other directories, other than the specific directory, to which the uninstalled application program corresponds are also deleted, so that after the uninstall of the application program is completed, file residue is avoided, and the occupation of the device storage space is reduced.
