This application provides a method, an apparatus, a system for detecting battery thermal runaway, and a battery management unit. The method includes: obtaining an output signal of an air pressure sensor located in a battery pack, and obtaining parameter information of the battery pack; determining state information of the air pressure sensor based on the output signal of the air pressure sensor; and generating an alarm signal indicating occurrence of thermal runaway in the battery pack based on the state information of the air pressure sensor and the parameter information of the battery pack. In this application, the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack may be implemented by considering parameter information of both the air pressure sensor and the battery pack, improving the reliability of the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack, reducing the probability of false positives and false negatives, and improving driving safety.

The present disclosure provides a battery management system, and a method and apparatus for transmitting information. The method includes: determining, from a plurality of slave nodes, a fault slave node that communicates abnormally with a master node in the battery management system; selecting a target slave node from the plurality of slave nodes, wherein the target slave node is a slave node that communicates normally with both the master node and the fault slave node; transmitting frequency conversion information to the target slave node, so that the target slave node forwards the frequency conversion information to the fault slave node, and the fault slave node performs a frequency conversion based on the frequency conversion information; and transmitting information with the fault slave node using a frequency after the frequency conversion. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the reliability of wireless communication in the battery management system can be improved.

Battery management system, and method and apparatus for transmitting information

The disclosure provides a thermal runaway detection circuit and method, and relates to batteries. The thermal runaway detection circuit includes: a sensing module including a sensing cable; a detection module connected to the sensing cable and including at least one set of voltage dividing resistors; a processing module connected to the detection module, wherein the processing module is configured to obtain thermal runaway detection data, and determine whether thermal runaway occurs in the battery pack based on the thermal runaway detection data, wherein the thermal runaway detection data includes battery pack data and sampled data collected from sampling points, and the sampling points are disposed between the two connected voltage dividing resistor sets. The technical solutions in the present disclosure can improve safety of the battery pack.

The method includes: determining, by a main BMU, from a plurality of managed units a fault unit that communicates abnormally with the main BMU, and transmitting, by the main BMU, to a backup BMU a fault frequency at which the fault unit communicates abnormally with the main BMU; selecting, by the backup BMU, from the managed units a managed unit that communicates normally with the backup BMU and the fault unit as a target unit; transmitting, by the backup BMU, frequency-conversion information to the fault unit through the target unit based on the fault frequency; converting, by the fault unit, its frequency to a frequency; transmitting the frequency to the main BMU if the backup BMU communicates normally with the fault unit using the frequency; and communicating, by the main BMU, with the fault unit using the frequency.

The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method for data transmission, comprising: authenticating, by a target node in a battery management system, a source node in response to a request for data transmission from the source node; selecting, by the target node, any two prime numbers from a pre-stored set of prime numbers if the authentication is passed, generating a public key and a private key according to the two prime numbers, and transmitting the public key to the source node; performing, by the source node, a first encryption byte-by-byte for source data to be transmitted using the public key, performing a second encryption for the first encrypted data using a first encryption algorithm stored by the source node itself, and transmitting the second encrypted data to the target node.
