The present invention relates to a carbon nanotube-transition metal oxide composite and a method for making the composite. The composite comprises at least one carbon nanotube and a plurality of transition metal oxide nanoparticles. The plurality of transition metal oxide nanoparticles are chemically bonded to the at least one carbon nanotube through carbon-oxygen-metal (C—O-M) linkages, wherein the metal is a transition metal element. The method for making the composite comprising the following steps: stepproviding at least one carbon nanotube obtained from a super-aligned carbon nanotube array; steppre-oxidizing the at least one carbon nanotube; stepdispersing the at least one carbon nanotube in a solvent to form a first suspension; stepdispersing a material containing transition metal oxyacid radicals in the first suspension to form a second suspension; and stepremoving the solvent from the second suspension and drying the second suspension.

Carbon nanotube-transition metal oxide composite and method for making the same

A solid electrolyte three-electrode electrochemical test device comprises a housing, a working electrode, a counter electrode, a reference electrode, a first conductive structure, a second conductive structure, a third conductive structure, and a solid electrolyte layer. The housing comprises a groove and a first through hole located at a bottom of the groove. The reference electrode is insulated from the counter electrode. The first conductive structure and the working electrode are stacked with each other, and the working electrode and at least a part of the first conductive structure are located in the first through hole. The solid electrolyte layer, the counter electrode, the reference electrode, the second conductive structure and the third conductive structure are located in the groove, and the first conductive structure, the working electrode, the solid electrolyte layer, the counter electrode, and the second conductive structure are sequentially stacked and located coaxially with each other.

A lithium ion battery electrolyte comprising a glyceryl ether epoxy resin gel is provided. The glyceryl ether epoxy resin gel comprises a glyceryl ether epoxy resin and an electrolyte. The glyceryl ether epoxy resin is a cross-linked polymer obtained by a ring-opening reaction of a glyceryl ether polymer and a polyamine compound. The glyceryl ether polymer is a glycidyl ether polymer comprising at least two epoxy groups, and the polyamine compound comprises at least two amine groups. The cross-linked polymer comprises a main chain and a plurality of hydroxyl groups, and the plurality of hydroxyl groups are located on the main chain. The electrolyte comprises a lithium salt and a non-aqueous solvent. The lithium salt and the glyceryl ether epoxy resin are dispersed in the non-aqueous solvent. A method of making the lithium ion battery electrolyte is also provided.

Test device and method for testing an oxidation potential of an electrolyt

A method of making a stretchable film structure is provided. An elastic substrate is pre-stretched in a first direction and a second direction to obtain a pre-stretched elastic substrate. A carbon nanotube film structure is laid on a surface of the pre-stretched elastic substrate. The carbon nanotube film structure comprises a plurality of super-aligned carbon nanotube films stacked with each other. The pre-stretching the elastic substrate is removed and a plurality of wrinkles is formed on a surface of the carbon nanotube film structure to form the stretchable film structure. The present disclosure also relates to the stretchable film structure obtained by the above method.

A touch panel is related. The touch panel includes a first electrode board, a second electrode board spaced from the first electrode board, a number of transparent spacers disposed between the first electrode board and the second electrode board, and an insulating frame disposed between the first electrode board and the second electrode board and around the plurality of transparent spacers. A cathode of a lithium-air battery includes a carbon nanotube composite film and a protecting layer. The carbon nanotube composite film includes a carbon nanotube network structure and a catalyst in particle form located in the carbon nanotube network structure. The carbon nanotube composite film is disposed on a surface of the protecting layer. The protecting layer allows conduction of lithium ions while preventing organic substances in an electrolyte of the lithium-air battery reaching the carbon nanotube composite film. A lithium-air battery is also disclosed.

Cathode and lithium-air battery using the same

A method for making a battery electrode is provided. A carbon nanotube material is provided. The carbon nanotube material is placed into a furnace containing carbon dioxide. The furnace is heated to a temperature about 800&#xb0; C. to about 950&#xb0; C., and the carbon nanotube material is oxidized. The oxidized carbon nanotube material is dispersed in a first solution to form a carbon nanotube suspension. An active material is ultrasonically dispersed in a second organic solvent to form an active material dispersion. The carbon nanotube suspension is mixed with the active material dispersion to form a second solution. The second solution is stirred by ultrasonic means and dried after filtering.

Method for making battery electrodes

A stretchable composite electrode comprising a carbon nanotube active material composite layer is provided. The stretchable composite electrode comprises a plurality of carbon nanotube film structures and a plurality of active material layers. Each of the plurality of active material layers is located between adjacent carbon nanotube film structures. Each of the plurality of carbon nanotube film structures comprises a plurality of super-aligned carbon nanotube films stacked with each other. A surface of the carbon nanotube active material composite layer comprises a plurality of wrinkles. A stretchable composite electrode using the stretchable composite electrode is also provided.

Stretchable composite electrode and stretchable lithium ion battery using the same

A method of making a stretchable composite electrode is provided. An elastic substrate is pre-stretched along a first direction and a second direction, to obtain a pre-stretched elastic substrate. A carbon nanotube active material composite layer is laid on a surface of the pre-stretched elastic substrate. And the pre-stretching of the elastic substrate is removed, and a plurality of wrinkles is formed on a surface of the carbon nanotube active material composite layer.
