A long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure and processing method thereof are provided. At first, a textile is dipped into an aqueous solution of a surfactant containing nanoparticles. An aqueous solution of a silicon source is prepared and its pH value is adjusted to about 5&#x2dc;9. Then, the aqueous solution of the surfactant and the aqueous solution of the silicon source are mixed to form a mixture solution. The mixture solution is stirred until silica powder form therein. The textile is taken out and dipped into water and organic solvent separately several times. Finally, the textile is dried to obtain the long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure.

Long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure and processing method thereof

A method of fabricating nano-silver fibers is provided. An organic solution of a dispersant is prepared. Then, a silver salt and a reductant are added into the organic solution. The organic solution is stirred to let the silver salt and the reductant react to form silver nanoparticles dispersed in the organic solution uniformly. Next, a spinnable polymer resin is dissolved in the organic solution to form a spinning solution. A wet spinning method is performed to let the spinning solution form nano-silver fibers.

Method of fabricating nano-silver fibers

A method for manufacturing antibacterial polyester master batches and fibers containing nano-silver particles, the method includes the acts of: mixing a reducing agent, glycol and a silver precursor together to compose a first mixture; esterifying terephthalic acid and glycol to compose a second mixture containing block polymers; mixing the first and second mixtures to make the block polymers further polymerize to achieve a polyester liquid containing nano-silver particles; optionally, cooling the polyester liquid to solidify; and selectively, granulating the solidified polyester to obtain a polyester master batches or melting spinning the polyester to obtain polyester fibers. By reducing the silver ions during polymerizing reaction, the reduced silver particles are separated by polymerized polyester molecules so that the silver particles are evenly distributed inside the polyester master batches without coagulation.
