When operating a resistive touch panel, a first command is issued by touching the touch panel using a finger. When the finger remains in contact with the touch panel, a second command is issued by touching the touch panel using a stylus. Therefore, a corresponding gesture operation can be executed in multi-touch applications after identifying the first and second commands.

Multi-touch method for resistive touch panel

A display module having an improved assembly structure is provided. The display module includes a frame, a display panel, and a glue. The frame has a side wall and a supporting part, wherein the supporting part has a supporting surface and the side wall is formed on the periphery of the supporting surface. A groove is formed on the supporting surface adjacent to the side wall and is distributed along the side wall. The display panel is disposed within the frame and has a bottom face and a side face. The bottom face is supported by the supporting surface of the supporting part. The side face faces the side wall and forms a gap with the side wall. The glue is filled in the gap and adheres the side wall to the side face.

Display module

A display module includes an outer frame, a light emitting unit, a panel device, and a light guide plate having a light entrance surface and a connecting side. A first recessed portion is formed on the connecting side. The outer frame is disposed on the light guide plate and has a second recessed portion formed thereon corresponding to the first recessed portion. The second recessed portion is complementarily connected to the first recessed portion. The light emitting unit is disposed in the outer frame corresponding to the light entrance surface for emitting light into the light guide plate via the light entrance surface. The panel device is disposed on the light guide plate and contained in the outer frame for receiving the light emitted from the light guide plate. The ratio of the length of the first recessed portion to the length of the connecting side is greater than 0.2.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel includes an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a polarizer, an analyzer, and a cover. The liquid crystal layer is configured between the active device array substrate and the opposite substrate. The polarizer is configured on the opposite substrate, and the polarizer and the liquid crystal layer are respectively located at two opposite sides of the opposite substrate. The analyzer is configured on the active device array substrate, and the analyzer and the liquid crystal layer are respectively located at two opposite sides of the active device array substrate. In addition, the cover is joined to the analyzer.

Liquid crystal display panel

A touch panel includes two substrates, a sealant positioned between the substrates, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the substrates and enclosed by the sealant, and a first and a second sensing zones disposed on the substrate, wherein the first sensing zone is enclosed by the second sensing zone, and the second sensing zone is enclosed by the sealant. The first and second sensing zones have at least a first sensor and at least a second sensor respectively. The first sensor has a first sensor gap, and the second sensor has a second sensor gap smaller than the first sensor gap.

Touch panel and touch-panel device

A lamp support structure is disclosed using in a backlight module. The lamp support structure comprises a base, extending downwards, and two arms. Each arm comprises an inner curved edge and an opposite outer curved edge, both extending upwards from the base to define a receiving space. Moreover, each arm comprises a top end to define an opening such that a lamp can fit into the receiving space through the opening. The lateral dimension of the opening is smaller than that of the lamp. Each arm comprises a first section, including an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the lower portion extends upwards from the base and the lateral cross-section dimension of the first section tapers from the base toward the upper portion.
