A heat dissipation module is for a wheel module with a motor. The heat dissipation module includes a supporting member and a fan. The supporting member has a supporting portion, a fixing portion and connecting portions. The fixing portion is located in a ventilation hole of the supporting portion and connected to the supporting portion by the connecting portions. The fixing portion has opposite first and second side surfaces. The first side surface is connected to the motor. The fan is disposed on the second side surface. The fan has an air outlet facing the ventilation hole. On a plane parallel to the first side surface, the air outlet and the ventilation hole partially overlap, a cross-sectional area of the ventilation hole is greater than that of the fixing portion, and the cross-sectional area of the fixing portion is greater than or equal to that of the motor.

Heat dissipation module and projection device

The invention provides a heat dissipation system and a projection device including the same. The heat dissipation system includes a case, a plurality of liquid cold plates, a first radiator and a second radiator. The case includes a main air inlet and an air outlet. The liquid cold plates are disposed in the case. The first radiator is disposed in the case and beside the main air inlet. The second radiator is disposed in the case and beside the air outlet. The liquid cold plates, the first radiator and the second radiator are connected with one another. The invention has a good heat radiating effect.

Heat dissipation system comprising a plurality of liquid cold plates and projection device

A heat dissipation module adapted to dissipate the heat of a wavelength conversion device located inside a closed housing is provided. The heat dissipation module includes a first heat exchange element, a first cooling element, a second heat exchange element and a first heat conductive structure. The first heat exchange element is disposed inside the closed housing. The first cooling element has a cold side and a hot side opposite each other. The first cooling element is disposed inside the closed housing, and the cold side is located between the hot side and the first heat exchange element. The second heat exchange element is disposed outside the closed housing. One end of the first heat conductive structure is connected to the hot side of the first cooling element, and the other end of the first heat conductive structure is connected to the second heat exchange element.

The invention provides an optical engine module and a projector including the optical engine module. The optical engine module includes a casing, a light valve, a prism assembly and a fan assembly. The casing has an assembly port. The light valve is disposed at the assembly port and defines an accommodating space with the casing. The prism assembly is disposed in the accommodating space, and the light valve is configured to convert an illumination beam from the prism assembly into an image beam. The prism assembly includes a first region and a second region. The first region includes a light incident surface of the prism assembly, and a temperature of the second region is higher than a temperature of the first region. The fan assembly is disposed in the accommodating space. Airflow provided by the fan assembly circulates in the accommodating space.

Optical engine module with fan assembly for heat dissipation and projector having the same

The invention provides a heat dissipating module configured to dissipate heat of at least one heating element of a projection device. The heat dissipating module includes a first radiator, a second radiator, a pipe, and at least one fan. The second radiator is disposed opposite to the first radiator. The heating element, the first radiator, and the second radiator are connected to each other through the pipe to form a loop. A working fluid is configured to be filled in the pipe, and the working fluid flows through the first radiator after flowing through the second radiator for heat exchange, and the working fluid flowing into the first radiator flows to the heating element for cyclic heat dissipation after heat exchange again through the first radiator. The fan is configured between the first radiator and the second radiator.

A light wavelength conversion element is configured to receive an excitation beam from a light incident side, comprising a substrate and a light wavelength conversion substance. The substrate has a surface facing the light incident side. The surface has at least one microstructure protruded toward the light incident side. The light wavelength conversion substance is disposed on the surface and covers the at least one microstructure. The light wavelength conversion substance is excited by the excitation beam and emits a conversion beam. The excitation beam forms an exciting light spot on the light wavelength conversion substance. The energy density distribution of the exciting light spot has at least one peak value. A position corresponding to the at least one peak value on the light wavelength conversion substance corresponds to a position of the at least one microstructure. Additionally, a projection apparatus is provided.

A light wavelength conversion element is configured to receive an excitation beam from a light incident side, comprising a substrate and a light wavelength conversion substance. The substrate has a surface facing the light incident side. The surface has at least one microstructure protruded toward the light incident side. The light wavelength conversion substance is disposed on the surface and covers the at least one microstructure. The light wavelength conversion substance is excited by the excitation beam and emits a conversion beam. The conversion beam forms a light spot on the light wavelength conversion substance. A wheel assembly includes a housing, a wheel, and a thermal conductive assembly. The wheel is disposed inside of an enclosure of the housing, and includes a first surface, a second surface, and a wavelength conversion layer formed on a coating area of the first surface and configured to convert wavelength of a light beam. The thermal conductive assembly includes a thermal conductive structure and a thermal conductive tube. The thermal conductive structure corresponds to an edge contour of the wheel and is disposed adjacent to an outer edge of the wheel. The thermal conductive tube is coupled to the thermal conductive structure and partially protrudes to an exterior of the housing for conducting heat generated by the wheel from the thermal conductive structure to the exterior of the housing. The distance between the thermal conductive structure and the outer edge of the wheel falls within 1-50 mm.

An air filter module adapted to be used with a projection module and disposed to cover an air vent of the projection module. The air filter module includes a filter component and a cleaning unit. The cleaning unit is disposed to cover the air vent and configured to drive the filter component to have a movement so as to remove the dust on the filter component according to a cleaning-start signal. A projection device adopting the air filter module is also provided.

Self cleaning air filter module and projection device using the same

A phosphor wheel includes a rotating disk and a wavelength converting layer. The rotating disk has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, in which the first surface forms a coating region and a non-coating region. The wavelength converting layer is formed on the coating region of the first surface for converting a light wavelength of a light beam. In addition, an embodiment of the invention discloses a projection device having the phosphor wheel. When the rotating disk of the phosphor wheel rotates, the recess portion may disturb the air around the phosphor wheel such that the temperature of the wavelength converting layer may be effectively decreased. Simultaneously, the rotating disk has a stable dynamic balance and the rotating disk has a larger heat dissipating region because the recess portion is disposed on the rotating disk.

An optical engine module includes a first casing with a first enclosed space, a light source at the first casing, a phosphor wheel in the first casing, a cooling fan and a heat-dissipating module. The light source emits a light beam passing through the phosphor wheel. The cooling fan is in the first enclosed space and has an airflow outlet. The heat-dissipating module includes two heat-dissipating parts and a heat-guiding part, wherein the first and second heat-dissipating parts are respectively in and outside the first enclosed space, the heat-guiding part is connected between the first and second heat-dissipating parts and the phosphor wheel is between the airflow outlet and the first heat-dissipating part. The airflow outlet and the phosphor wheel, and the phosphor wheel and the first heat-dissipating part, are at least partially overlapped with each other along the airflow exiting direction of the cooling fan.

Optical engine module having heat-dissipating module and projection apparatus having the same

A projecting apparatus includes a chassis, an optical engine, a first fan set and a second fan set. The first fan set is disposed in the chassis and located at a first air outlet, and is configured to drive air to flow via a first air inlet into the chassis to form a first air flow. The first air flow flows out of the chassis via the first air outlet. The second fan set is disposed in the chassis and located at a second air outlet, and is configured to drive air to flow via the first air inlet into the chassis to form a second air flow. The second air flow flows out of the chassis via the second air outlet. A flow direction of the first air flow at the first air outlet is perpendicular to that of the second air flow at the second air outlet.
