A vehicle gearshift autonomous control device including a first actuator module, a second actuator module and an electronic control unit, is provided in an add-on manner to retrofit the vehicle transmission with both autonomous and human control gearshift functions. In an autonomous gearshift mode, the electronic control unit executes the vehicle gearshift autonomous control method and receives an autonomous gearshift command to drive the first actuator module to push a shift lever to implement a lateral shift selection, or to drive the second actuator module to spin a spin lever to implement a longitudinal gearshift. For vehicle security, whenever a vehicle gearshift autonomous control device failure or a human control gearshift intervention is detected in the autonomous gearshift mode, the electronic control unit shuts off the autonomous gearshift mode and switches to a human control gearshift mode to perform the human control gearshift function.

Vehicle gearshift autonomous control device and method thereof

A heavy vehicle brake control method includes: activating two electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules to perform braking along a front-axle electrical brake loop and a rear-axle electrical brake loop, respectively; while the two electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules perform braking along the front-axle electrical brake loop and the rear-axle electrical brake loop, judging malfunctions by detecting the two electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules; if none of the malfunctions is detected, the two electro-pneumatic proportional valve control modules continuing to perform braking along the front-axle electrical brake loop and the rear-axle electrical brake loop; and, if one or more malfunctions are detected, then switching on a brake-pedal cable control module to control the brake pedal of the brake valve to perform braking. In addition, a heavy vehicle brake control device is also provided.

Heavy vehicle brake control device and method thereof

A method of accessing data from distributed field equipments by a host through a set of intelligent network gateways is disclosed. The intelligent network gateways link the host on a local area network to the field equipments that are connected to a control network. Initially, configuration software residing in the host is employed to install the intelligent network gateways and the field equipments as a set of virtual equipment data servers, which are capable of continuously accessing, updating, and storing data from the field equipments. The virtual equipment data servers always possess the field equipments' most recent data and are able to communicate to any application program with a standard communication protocol. The method and apparatus facilitate the integration of a variety of field equipments with high-speed data links in a factory environment.

Method of accessing distributed field equipments by a host through a plurality of intelligent network gateways

A chip device for positioning control and position recording of a servo motor. The chip device can be operated in two modes: a first mode, and a second mode. In the first mode, the chip device can perform step command conversion, position loop control, multiple shaft synchronization, and recording of the position of the motor shaft. The step command conversion utilizes a digital-differential analysis (DDA) method to convert the step waveform in the command signal into ramp waveform for smoothed control of the servo motor. The position loop control circuit compute for the error in position and then compensates the error to generate a 12-bit 2's complement output which is subsequently converted to analog signal used to drive the servo motor. The purpose of multiple shaft synchronization is to allow a plurality of servo motor to rotate in synchronization and accurately with the same increments. The recording of the position of the motor shaft is achieved by counting the number of pulses from a position encoder coupled to the servo motor. The chip device is fast in processing speed, small in size, and reliable in operation, and allows synchronization among a plurality of servo motors. Moreover, the chip device can be built with fewer components so that production cost can be reduced.
