A server chassis including a chassis, a motherboard, a processing assembly and a storage assembly. The chassis includes a bottom plate. The bottom plate has a front side and a rear side that are opposite to each other. The chassis has a first area and a second area. The first area is located adjacent to the front side, and the second area is located adjacent to the rear side. The motherboard is disposed on the bottom plate and located between the front side and the rear side. The processing assembly is disposed on the bottom plate and selectively disposed in the first area or the second area. The storage assembly is disposed on the bottom plate and located adjacent to the front side.

Server chassis

The invention relates to a method for assembling a fan unit into an electronic device and removing therefrom. The electronic device has a first connector. The fan unit includes a fixture, a fan, a second connector and a handle. The fan is assembled into the fixture and electrically connected to the second connector. The handle is pivotally connected to the fixture and operable to be pivotally moved between a first position and a second position of the fixture. When the handle is operated to move to the first position, the fixture is pushed to approach to the first connector, so as to so as make the second connector connect to the first connector in mechanical and electrical. When the handle is operated to move to the second position, the fixture is pulled out by the handle, so as to make the second connector disconnected to the first connector.

Fan unit, and assembling and removing method thereof

A server includes a casing, a storage module and a motherboard. The casing includes a chassis and two side plates. The two side plates stand on the chassis. The storage module is disposed on the chassis. The motherboard includes a circuit board, at least one central processing unit, a first amplifier, a second amplifier, a riser card and a third amplifier. The circuit board is disposed on the chassis. The at least one central processing unit, the first amplifier and the second amplifier are disposed on the circuit board. The riser card is disposed on the second amplifier. The third amplifier is disposed on the riser card.

Server

A server includes a main board, a plurality of first expanding modules, a plurality of second expanding modules, a plurality of third expanding modules and a management controlling board. The main board has a first edge, a second edge corresponding to the first edge, a first plane, a second plane corresponding to the first plane. The main board includes a plurality of hardware connectors disposed on the first plane and between the first edge and the second edge. The plurality of first expanding modules, the plurality of second expanding modules and the plurality of third expanding modules are all disposed on the second edge and on the first plane. Each of the first expanding modules has a first Ethernet connector and a plurality of first ports configured to connect to a first external server. Each of the second expanding modules has a plurality of second ports configured to connect to a second external server. The management controlling board is disposed on the second edge and on the second plane. The management controlling board has a plurality of second Ethernet connectors.

A server structure includes a transfer board, a connecting backplane, a first bridge circuit board and a second bridge circuit board. The transfer board has oppositely at least one first connector and at least one second connector. The connecting backplane has at least one third connector located correspondingly to the at least one first connector and at least one fourth connector located in correspondingly to the at least one second connector. To electrically couple the transfer board and the connecting backplane, the first bridge circuit board is inserted between the first connector and the third connector, while the second bridge circuit board is inserted between the second connector and the fourth connector. The communication bandwidth between the transfer board and the connecting backplane can be extended by the combination of the first bridge circuit board and the second bridge circuit board.

Server with dual-side bridge circuit boards and method for assembling the same

A storage unit, in which a hard disk drive is disposed and detachably installed inside a casing including side walls standing on the tray, a tray and a circuit board disposed on the tray and including a connector, includes a carrier including a frame set. The frame set includes a main frame and a first side frame and a second side frame that are opposite to each other. The first and second side frames are located on the main frame to extend outward to form a first accommodation space. The first and second side frame each includes a positioning portion and a positioning pin each extending towards the first accommodation space. The main frame further includes a stopping portion. The second side frame of the frame set has a free end away from the main frame and the free end is flexible.

Storage unit and electronic device having the same

A server includes a mid-plane board, a storage backplane module, a plurality of first storage units, a vertical interposer board, a first electronic module, a second electronic module and a plurality of power supply units. The vertical interposer board is vertically inserted and thus electrically coupled to the mid-plane board. The storage backplane module, the vertical interposer board, the first electronic module, the second electronic module and the power supply units are electrically connected to each other through the mid-plane board.

A latch device is provided, which is used for a server. The latch device comprises: a positioning post fixed on a case of the server; a containing shelf fixed on a top cover of the server; a shifting plate fixed in the containing shelf through at least one fixing parts, wherein the fixing part permits the shifting plate moved along an opening thereof; and a rotating handle jointed with the shifting plate through two rotating axles and able to be moved between a first rotating position and a second rotating position. When the positioning post is inserted into an insertion hole of the shifting plate inside the containing shelf, the rotating handle can drive the containing shelf to be moved backward and forward, so that the top cover is driven to be moved backward and forward with the containing shelf, and the shifting plate is moved therewith.

Latch device and server using the same

A latch device is provided herein, which includes a base fixedly disposed on a chassis and having an abutting side, an accommodating frame fixedly disposed on a top cover and having two bumped spring tabs on two inner sides thereof, and a rotatable handle hinged with the accommodating frame by a hinge. The rotatable handle has two openings at an end thereof near to the hinge and two holes at another end thereof far from the hinge. The rotatable handle is rotated to engage and interact the opening with the abutment side, so that the top cover engagedly covers or is separated from the chassis. The bumped spring tab is snapped into the hole after engagedly covering or before separated.

A storage server is provided herein, which comprises a chassis and at least one slide tray having at least one storage module. The advantage of the present invention is on expanding an accommodating space of the slide tray whereby various components can be disposed within the slide tray.

Storage server

A fan unit assembly includes a fan rack, fan units and handles. The fan rack includes a carrier and parallel partition boards erected on the carrier to define fan-disposing regions. The partition board has at least one first positioning part and at least one first guiding part facing the corresponding fan-disposing region. The fan unit has two side surfaces and a front surface. The front surface connects the side surfaces. The side surfaces respectively have a second guiding part engaged with the first guiding part. The fan unit is suitable to move along the first guiding part through the second guiding part. The handles are disposed at the front surface and both ends thereof are bent to form two pivot portions respectively pivoted on the side surfaces. Each pivot portion has a second positioning part. When the handle rotates towards the front surface, the positioning parts interfere with each other.

Fan unit assembly

A case structure for a computer device is disposed in a cabinet. The case structure includes a case and a stop member. The case has a first slot on a sidewall of the case. The stop member includes a fixing section, a cantilever section, and a stop section. The fixing section is fixed on a side surface of the case. The cantilever section is formed by extending from the fixing section and may be deformed. The stop section is formed by extending from the cantilever section. At least one blocking piece is disposed on a side surface of the stop section. The blocking piece normally passes through the first slot and protrudes on an outer side surface of the case, so that the blocking piece is held against the cabinet. When the cantilever section is deformed, the blocking piece is merged into the first slot.
