A display device may include: a substrate including a display area including a pixel area, and a non-display area including a pad area and located at at least one side of the display area; a pixel in the pixel area, the pixel including an emission area in which at least one light emitting element is located, and a non-emission area adjacent to the emission area; a pad in the pad area, the pad being electrically connected to the pixel; a first layer on the light emitting element at the pixel area; and a second layer in the pixel area and the pad area, the second layer including a pad opening formed exposing at least a portion of the pad. The first layer may include an organic layer including a hollow particle. The first layer may be spaced from the pad opening and covered with the second layer.

Display device and method of fabricating the same

The display device includes sub-pixels disposed in a display area, dummy pixels disposed in a non-display area, a first bank disposed at a boundary between the sub-pixels and including an opening, a second bank disposed at a boundary between the dummy pixels and including an opening, a color conversion layer disposed in the opening of the first bank, and an organic layer disposed in the opening of the second bank.

Low refractive layer and display device

A display device includes a substrate. The substrate includes a display area and a non-display area, and the display area includes an emission area and a non-emission area. A display element layer includes a light emitting element on the emission area of the substrate. A bank is on the display element layer and overlaps the non-display area and the non-emission area of the substrate in a plan view. A color conversion layer is on the display element layer, overlaps the emission area in the plan view, and is to convert a color of light emitted from the light emitting element. An organic insulating layer is on the color conversion layer and the bank. A maximum thickness of the bank is about 4 μm to about 20 μm. An average inclination angle of a first side surface of the bank adjacent to an edge of the substrate in the non-display area based on an upper surface of the substrate is less than or equal to about 45 degrees.

A display device includes a light emitting element disposed on a substrate. A color conversion layer is disposed on the light emitting element, the color conversion layer including color conversion particles that convert light of a first color emitted from the light emitting element into light of a second color. An insulating layer is disposed on the color conversion layer. The insulating layer includes a first inorganic layer overlapping the color conversion layer, a second inorganic layer disposed on the first inorganic layer, and a third inorganic layer disposed on the second inorganic layer. A second porosity of the second inorganic layer is greater than a first porosity of the first inorganic layer. A second porosity of the second inorganic layer is greater than a third porosity of the third inorganic layer.

Display device having low reflectivity layer and method for manufacturing the same

A display device includes: a substrate; a first electrode on the substrate; a bank layer on the first electrode; an organic light-emitting layer on the first electrode; a second electrode on the organic light-emitting layer and the bank layer; a high-refractive lens on the second electrode and having a refractive index higher than a refractive index of a material that overlaps the first electrode and contacts a side surface of the high-refractive lens; a display panel including an encapsulation member that is on the high-refractive lens; and an optical path adjustment film on the display panel. The optical path adjustment film includes a plurality of protruding patterns on the encapsulation member and a cover layer in spaces between adjacent protruding patterns from among the plurality of protruding patterns. A refractive index of each of the protruding patterns is smaller than a refractive index of the cover layer.

A display device may include a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; and a plurality of pixels disposed in the display area, the plurality of pixels each including an emission area and a non-emission area.
