The medical imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source configured to irradiate X-rays; an X-ray detector configured to obtain raw data by detecting X-rays irradiated from the X-ray source; and an image processor configured to determine a motion parameter to represent motion of at least one of an object, the X-ray source, and the X-ray detector from a medical image reconstructed based on the obtained raw data, and reconstruct a motion-compensated medical image of the object based on a virtual trajectory of the X-ray source generated based on the determined motion parameter.

Provided is an X-ray imaging apparatus including: an image generation unit configured to generate an X-ray image based on X-rays transmitted by an object; a thickness measurement unit configured to measure thickness information of the object and generate a reference phantom image in which the measured thickness information is indicated; and an image separation unit configured to generate a final image obtained by separating a material inside the object from the X-ray image using the reference phantom image.

An X-ray apparatus includes an image separator configured to separate an X-ray image of an object into material images representing materials in the object; a parameter determiner configured to determine a width of a material of interest (MOI) based on the material images, and determine an enhancement parameter configured to enhance contrast of the MOI according to the width of the MOI; and an image enhancer configured to separate the X-ray image into detailed images respectively including spatial frequencies of different frequency bands, enhance each of the detailed images according to the enhancement parameter, and synthesize the enhanced detailed images to generate an enhanced image.

An X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray generator configured to transmit X-rays to an object, an X-ray detector configured to detect the X-rays transmitted through the object and convert the detected X-rays into electrical signals, a gantry in which the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector are installed so as to be opposite to each other, the gantry being rotatable about a bore, a controller configured to control a rotation of the gantry during bio-signal cycles of the object so that the gantry is rotated from different start positions whenever one of the bio-signal cycles is started, and an image processor configured to generate a 4D image of the object by applying a prior image-based compressed sensing image reconstruction algorithm to plural 2D projection images acquired from the electrical signals generated by converting the X-rays detected during the rotation of the gantry.

X-ray imaging apparatus and control method thereof

An X-ray imaging apparatus is provided. The X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray generator configured to radiate X-rays onto an object having a region of interest (ROI) and a non-ROI, a filter configured to adjust an X-ray dose of the X-rays incident on the ROI and the non-ROI, an X-ray detector configured to detect the X-rays transmitted through the object and convert the X-rays into X-ray data, and an image processing unit configured to obtain a frame image using the X-ray data, register the obtained frame image to a previous frame image, synthesize the frame image and the previous frame image, and generate a reconstructed frame image.

An X-ray imaging apparatus may include an image acquirer configured to acquire a plurality of X-ray images of an object in different energy bands; and an image processor configured to perform scattering correction on the plurality of X-ray images to remove X-ray scattering from the plurality of X-ray images, perform material separation on the plurality of X-ray images on which the scattering correction has been performed to acquire material information of at least one material included in the object, and repeatedly perform the scattering correction and the material separation depending on whether a predetermined condition is satisfied.

The X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source configured to irradiate X-rays to a subject, and an X-ray detector configured to detect X-rays penetrating the subject, and generate a frame image including pieces of X-ray data for energy bands. The X-ray imaging apparatus further includes an image divider configured to divide the frame image into images of substances, using the pieces of the X-ray data, and an image generator configured to restore the frame image by performing motion compensation on an image of a first substance of the frame image, among the images of the substances of the frame image, and an image of the first substance of a previous frame image.

X-ray imaging apparatus and method for generating X-ray image

An apparatus and method of reconstructing a three-dimensional (3D) image from two-dimensional (2D) images are disclosed. Three dimensional (3D) data may be reconstructed in an x-ray generation tube at a limited angle, and repeatedly updated for each pixel. A median from among each pixel of reconstruction data may be selected. Backprojecting may be performed using a search direction weight calculated using a reprojection image and residual image. A 3D image satisfying a Level 1 (L1) norm fidelity and sparsity constraint of the reconstruction data may be reconstructed.
