The disclosure is related to controlling an application execution in user equipment. A user request for executing an application may be received. An execution condition may be obtained associated with the requested application. Whether the user equipment is connected to an external device may be detected. An execution of the requested application may be controlled based on a detection result and the obtained execution condition.

Controlling applications according to connection state and execution condition

Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for restricting transferring of image data produced by a predetermined application to a coupled external device. The method may include detecting an activation of an application in a user equipment while the user equipment is coupled to an external device and determining whether image data produced by the activated application is transferred to the coupled external device. The determining may include restricting the produced image data of the activated application from being transferred to the coupled external device when an application control type of the activated application is a restricted application, otherwise, transferring the produced image data of the activated application to the coupled external device.

Restricting operation results from being transferred to coupled external device

A system on chip includes a plurality of function blocks configured to perform predetermined functions, respectively, a clock control unit configured to generate a plurality of operating clock signals that are provided to the plurality of function blocks, respectively, a clock monitor configured to monitor frequencies of the operating clock signals to generate an interrupt signal, and a processor configured to control the frequencies of the operating clock signals based on the interrupt signal. The clock monitor includes a selector configured to select one of the operating clock signals to provide a selected clock signal, a frequency detector configured to detect a frequency of the selected clock signal to provide a detection frequency, and an interrupt generator configured to generate the interrupt signal based on the detection frequency, where the interrupt signal indicates a frequency abnormality of the operating clock signal corresponding to the selected clock signal.

Clock monitor and system on chip including the same

A clock control device and method are provided. The clock control device includes a stable time controller which receives an operational condition and generates an expiration counting value based on the operational condition; a stable time counter which receives the expiration counting value and activates a clock gating enable signal after a count value of the stable time counter is equal to the expiration counting value; a clock gating cell which transmits a clock signal after receiving the clock gating enable signal; and an oscillator which generates an oscillator clock signal and transmits the oscillator clock signal to the clock gating cell and the stable time counter.
