A cyclone dust collector is provided, including a cyclone unit that includes a first cyclone unit including a cyclone chamber to separate dust from dust-laden air, and a second cyclone unit, which is mounted in the first cyclone unit, including a plurality of cones to separate fine dust, and a cover unit that is formed on the cyclone unit to gather air discharged from the second cyclone unit and guide the air outside the cyclone dust collector, wherein the first cyclone unit includes a blocking plate at a lower part of the first cyclone unit, the blocking plate including a plurality of holes that are in fluid communication with the plurality of cones.

Cyclone dust collector

A cleaner is provided in which a handle for a dust receptacle can also be used as a handle for a cleaner body. The cleaner includes a cleaner body which includes a dust receptacle receiving unit, a dust receptacle which is detachably mounted on the dust receptacle receiving unit and includes a handle, a moving unit which moves the dust receptacle on the dust receptacle receiving unit to be fixed to the cleaner body, and a connection unit which fixes the dust receptacle to the cleaner body at two or more places according to the movement of the dust receptacle. Since the dust receptacle is firmly connected to the cleaner body by the connection unit, the handle can be used to carry the cleaner body as well as the dust receptacle.

The dust receptacle includes a receptacle body detachably mounted to a cleaner body, an ultraviolet (UV) transmission window penetratingly formed on the receptacle body, and a Teflon&#xae; cover sealing the UV transmission window. The vacuum cleaner having the dust receptacle includes a cleaner body, a dust receptacle detachably mounted to the cleaner body, a UV sterilizer lamp mounted within the cleaner body to scan the dust receptacle with a UV ray, a grill protecting the UV sterilizer lamp. In the vacuum cleaner, the dust receptacle has the same structure as described above.

A vacuum cleaner includes a suction port assembly, a motor generating a suction force at the suction port assembly, and a cyclone dust collecting device for centrifugally separating air drawn in through the suction port assembly and the motor in sequence. The cyclone dust-collecting device includes an air discharge port penetratingly formed on an outer circumference of the cyclone dust-collecting device and exposed to an outside of the cleaner body, for guiding the air discharged to the outside. Accordingly, since the air discharge port is disposed in the cyclone dust collecting device, not in the cleaner body, a discharge channel for connecting the cyclone dust collecting device and cleaner body is omitted and thus a structure of the vacuum cleaner becomes simplified.

A developing unit of a liquid electrophotographic printer includes a developing roller, for forming a development gap with a photoreceptor web where developer is filled and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor web, a squeegee roller installed at the rear end of the developing roller for closely pressing the photoreceptor web to squeegee surplus developer, and a cleaning mechanism for removing toner particles of the developer adhering to a surface of the squeegee roller using an electrical force. Since the toner particles adhering to the squeegee roller are removed, contamination of a developed image is prevented and a clean image can be printed.

Cleaning structure for a developing unit of liquid electrophotographic printer

An air filtering apparatus of a liquid electrophotographic printer is mounted on a charger and includes a suction device sucking air in a main body of the printer and a filtering device filtering pollutants contained in the air sucked by the suction device. The suction device includes a discharge wire disposed adjacent to a photoreceptor web, a holder supporting the discharge wire located between the holder and the photoreceptor web and having one side facing the photoreceptor web, an opening formed in the other side of the holder, a cover coupled to the other side of the holder, a hollow portion formed inside of the cover, a slot formed on the cover and connecting the hollow portion to the opening, and an exhaust hole formed on one end of the hollow portion, and a suction pump connected to the exhaust hole and sucking air through the exhaust hole so that the air near the charger and the photoreceptor web can be exhausted through the opening of the holder, the slot and hollow position of the cover, and the exhaust hole. A plurality of filters are coupled to the suction pump. Pollutants such as ozone and solvent and carbon materials contained in the air are removed while the air is filtered by the filters and than exhausted outside of the main body of the printer.

Air filtering apparatus of liquid electrophotographic printer

An ink leakage prevention system, for a liquid electrophotographic printer having a development tray, which includes a chassis, installed at a main body of the printer, a development tray, installed at the lower portion of a development unit and is detachable from the main body of the printer, wherein the developing tray accommodates developer left over after being used by the development unit for developing and which has a discharge portion for discharging the accommodated developer, a drain tray installed at the chassis to drain the developer discharged from the development tray into a circulation tank, and a discharge portion opening/shutting means for closing the discharge portion when the development tray is separated from the drain tray and for opening the discharge portion when the development tray is coupled to the drain tray. Thus, when the development tray is replaced or repaired, the parts in the main body of the printer are prevented from being damaged by any developer remaining in the development tray. Further, the present invention provides a simple structure wherein the packing holder which houses the packing member is directly installed in the discharge portion.
