Systems and methods are described herein relating to compositing dynamic content on 3D printed objects. A printing subsystem may transmit printing instructions to a 3D printer that include only a single digital mesh of the object, digital meshes of each discrete element of the dynamic content, and instructions for compositing unique combinations of the discrete elements on each instance of the object or each instance of a set of objects printed by the 3D printer.

Dynamic element compositing

Systems and methods are described herein to determine positive or negative displacement distances for each pixel of an image of a graphical element. A displacement subsystem may determine surface displacement distances based on a function of a distance of each pixel to a nearest edge pixel of the image of the graphical element. A mapping subsystem may generate a surface displacement map of the graphical element to be applied to a surface of a three-dimensional object. The surface displacement map may be used to generate a mesh file and/or transmitted to a three-dimensional printing for printing on a surface of an object.

An example system includes an identification engine to determine production data associated with a three-dimensionally printed object. The system also includes an alignment engine to determine a placement of the three-dimensionally printed object relative to a display device. The system includes a rendering engine to generate an image including a visual representation of the production data. The rendering engine is to position the visual representation of the production data so that representations of data points in the production data will overlay corresponding portions of the three-dimensionally printed object upon displaying by the display device.

In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a first channel, a second channel, a physical control interface, and a processor in communication with the physical control interface. The first channel provides a virtual image. The second channel provides a second image. The physical control interface receives the first channel and the second channel. The processor mixes a view of the virtual image and the second image based on a setting of the physical control interface.

In one example of the disclosure, presence data indicative of a presence factor for a remote subject is received from a server. The presence data is analyzed and a display representative of the presence factor is caused at a 3D object. The 3D object includes a 3D element representative of the remote subject.
