A display device includes a substrate, first and second transistors on the substrate, a first electrode connected to one of the first and second transistors, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and a light emission member between the first and second electrodes, where the first transistor includes a first channel including a polycrystalline semiconductor member on the substrate, a first source electrode and a first drain electrode at respective opposite sides of the first channel, a first gate electrode overlapping the first channel, and a first insulating layer covering the first gate electrode, the second transistor includes a second gate electrode on the first insulating layer, a second channel including an oxide semiconductor member on the second gate electrode, second source and drain electrodes on the second channel, and an external light blocking member on the second source and drain electrodes and overlapping the second channel.

Display device

A display panel includes a circuit layer including first, second, and third intermediate insulating layers, first and second conductive patterns, and a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit layer, and including first and second light emitting elements in a first area and a second area of a base layer. The first light emitting element is electrically connected to one of the first conductive patterns through a first through-hole formed through the second intermediate insulating layer and the third intermediate insulating layer. The second light emitting element is electrically connected to one of the second conductive patterns through a second through-hole formed through the third intermediate insulating layer. A smallest width of the first through-hole and a smallest width of the second through-hole are substantially equal in a cross-section.

Display panel and method for manufacturing the same

A display device includes a substrate including a first display area and a second display area; a first pixel circuit part disposed on the first display area of the substrate; a first light-emitting device connected to the first pixel circuit part; a second pixel circuit part disposed on the second display area of the substrate; a second light-emitting device connected to the second pixel circuit part; and a signal transfer wire that overlaps the second light-emitting device. The signal transfer wire includes subwires spaced apart from each other, and a bridge wire extending from the subwires.

A display device includes: a display panel including a display area having a pixel and a non-display area disposed adjacent to the display area; a sensor including a sensing electrode overlapping the display area; a first pad electrically connected to the display panel; and a second pad electrically connected to the sensor, wherein the first pad and the second pad are disposed in the non-display area and are spaced apart from each other with the display area interposed therebetween.

A display substrate includes a switching element disposed in a display region that is electrically connected to a gate line, a data line, and a first electrode in a peripheral region adjacent to the display region that includes a first conductive pattern formed from a first conductive layer that includes a same material as the gate line, a first line connecting part disposed in the peripheral region that includes the first conductive pattern, a second conductive pattern that overlaps the first conductive pattern and formed, an organic layer that partially exposes the second conductive pattern, and a third conductive pattern electrically connected to the second conductive pattern that contacts the partially exposed second conductive pattern, and a fourth conductive pattern that electrically connects the first conductive pattern of the pad part and the third conductive pattern of the first line connecting part.

Display substrate comprising a plurality of conductive patterns

The display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of gate lines extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, a plurality of data lines extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction, and a plurality of dots arranged in the first and second directions; a gate driver configured to sequentially supply a gate signal to the plurality of gate lines; and a data driver configured to supply a plurality of data signals to the plurality of data lines, respectively. The gate driver includes sub-gate drivers. The sub-gate drivers are disposed in the first direction to supply the gate signal to at least two positions of each gate line. Each of the sub-gate drivers includes a plurality of stages and each stage is disposed in at least one dot.

Display device with a reduced size of a bezel area

A gate driving circuit includes: a pull-up controller applying a carry signal of one of previous stages to a first node in response to the carry signal of the one of the previous stages; a pull-up part outputting a clock signal as an N-th gate output signal; a carry part outputting the clock signal as an N-th carry signal; a first pull-down part pulling down the signal at the first node to a second off voltage; a second pull-down part pulling down the N-th gate output signal to a first off voltage; an inverting part generating an inverting signal based on the clock signal and the second off voltage to output the inverting signal to an inverting node; and a reset part outputting a reset signal to the inverting node.

Gate driving circuit and display apparatus including the same

A display device includes: a first substrate including a touch region for sensing a touch and a peripheral area surrounding the touch region; a second substrate facing the first substrate; thin film transistors positioned on the first substrate; pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistors; common electrodes arranged to transmit a common voltage; sensing wires connected to the common electrodes and arranged to transmit a detection signal for sensing a touch; and a transparent electrode layer positioned on a first surface of the second substrate, the transparent electrode layer having a portion overlapping the peripheral area, and having at least one opening positioned over the touch region.

In-cell type display device

There is provided a display device including a display including a first pixel connected to a first data line and a second pixel connected to a second data line, a data signal generator configured to generate an output signal, and a signal divider configured to divide the output signal, to generate a first data signal and a second data signal, and to apply the first data signal and the second data signal to the first data line and the second data line, respectively, wherein the data signal generator is configured to generate the output signal based on a coupling effect of a first parasitic capacitor formed between the first data line and the second data line and a coupling effect of a parasitic capacitor of a data line formed by the first data line and second data line.

Display device utilizing a data driver accounting for parasitic capacitances

A display substrate includes a base substrate including a display area in which signal lines and pixels are arranged and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, pads disposed in the peripheral area and receiving an electrical signal, fan-out lines connecting the pads and the signal lines, and static electricity breakup circuits comprising a breakup line that crosses the fan-out lines, and static electricity prevention circuits respectively connected to the fan-out lines. Parts of the static electricity prevention circuits are connected to adjacent fan-out lines and are commonly connected to the one of the breakup lines through a common contact part.
