A method and system for predicting a driving path of a neighboring vehicle which may influence a subject vehicle is provided. The subject vehicle detects a segment adjacent to the neighboring vehicle which is currently driven and searches all segments connected to the segment. The method prevents a collision between the subject vehicle and the neighboring vehicle that occurs due to misrecognition of a position, a driving direction, or velocity of the neighboring vehicle, and more accurately predicts the driving path of the neighboring vehicle. The method includes receiving information of a neighboring road on which a subject vehicle is driven from a detailed map and detecting a segment showing the neighboring vehicle which is being currently driven from the information of the neighboring road. Segments are detected that are connected to the segment and the driving path of the neighboring vehicle is predicted.

An apparatus for calculating a route in consideration of a vehicular driving situation includes a situation recognizer determining whether a route is required to be calculated; a distance calculator calculating an estimated movement distance in consideration of a vehicle speed and a first estimated time required for searching for a route leading to a destination when the route is required to be calculated; and a route calculator calculating a future position of a vehicle to which the vehicle will have moved by the estimated movement distance along a lane in which the vehicle is driving or along an optimal route from a vehicle position at a first point in time when the situation recognizer determined the route was required to be calculated, and calculating an additional optimal route leading to the destination, based on the future position of the vehicle as a starting point.

If the school bus is stopped relatively near the front of the nearby vehicle, the method continues by determining whether or not the vehicle is stopped by comparing the collected school bus information and the road environment information with a predefined cruise regulation based on the school bus, and guiding the driver to stop as well as controlling the vehicle to stop depending on the determination result.

The apparatus includes a core, a coil, a plurality of MRE supports, and a magnetic path formation member. The core has a plurality of arms disposed thereon. The magnetic path formation member is disposed outside the plurality of MRE supports.
