A display device includes a display panel, a metal plate disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel and configured to support the display panel, a filling member disposed on the bottom surface of the display panel, the filling member being disposed on the same level as the metal plate relative to the bottom surface of the display panel, and a material of the metal plate being different from a material of the filling member, a fingerprint sensor disposed on a bottom surface of the filling member, and a member-sensor bonding member disposed between the fingerprint sensor and the filling member to bond the fingerprint sensor to the filling member. A hardness of the filling member is greater than a hardness of the member-sensor bonding member.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel; a metal plate and a filling member which are disposed on a lower surface of the display panel, are disposed on the same layer, and include different materials; and a fingerprint sensor which is disposed on a lower surface of the filling member and is overlapped by the filling member in a thickness direction, wherein the metal plate includes a plurality of outlines extending in different directions in plan view, one outline of the metal plate includes a plurality of sides extending along a first direction and a discontinuous part disposed between the sides, an open part recessed from the discontinuous part in a second direction intersecting the first direction is formed in the metal plate, and the filling member is located in the open part in plan view.

A display device including a light sensing array layer (LSAL), a substrate, a selective light transmission layer (SLTL), a pixel circuit layer (PCL), a display element layer (DEL), and pixels. The LSAL includes an optical sensor to sense incident light. The substrate is on the LSAL and includes a display area (DA) including pixel areas (PAs), and a non-DA adjacent to the DA. The SLTL is disposed on the substrate and includes through-holes to form a path of light onto the optical sensor, and a light-blocking conductive pattern (LBCP) between the through-holes. The PCL is disposed on the SLTL and includes a conductive layer and an insulation layer. The DEL is disposed on the PCL and emits light. Each pixel includes a pixel circuit disposed on the PCL, and a light emitting element on the DEL in a corresponding pixel area. The LBCP is electrically connected to the conductive layer.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display device comprising: a substrate; a thin film transistor layer on a first surface of the substrate and including a first hole; a light emitting element layer on the thin film transistor layer and including a light emitting element; a first light blocking layer between the substrate and the thin film transistor layer and including a second hole overlapping the first hole in a thickness direction of the substrate; and a second light blocking layer between the thin film transistor layer and the light emitting element layer and including a third hole overlapping the first hole and the second hole in the thickness direction of the substrate.

A display device including a display panel comprising at least one folding area. At least one elasticity-adjusting unit that changes an elastic force of the at least one folding area. An elasticity-adjusting circuit adjusting an elastic modulus for the at least one elasticity-adjusting unit in response to a change of a folding state of the at least one folding area. The at least one elasticity-adjusting unit has a width substantially equal to a width of the at least one folding area and the at least one elasticity-adjusting unit is disposed on a rear surface of the at least one folding area.

Display device and touch input system including the same

Provided is a display device comprising a display panel, a metal plate on a bottom surface of the display panel, the metal plate including a first surface facing the bottom surface of the display panel and a second surface opposite to the one surface, and a fingerprint sensor overlappingly disposed on the second surface of the metal plate, wherein the metal plate includes an indentation groove recessed in a direction toward the first surface from the second surface of the metal plate, and the fingerprint sensor is disposed on the second surface of the metal plate on which the indentation groove is formed.

The present disclosure provides a display device with fingerprint sensor in a manner capable of strengthening a display device integrating the fingerprint sensor. The display device includes a display panel including a display area, a cover panel, a fingerprint sensor, and a reinforcing member. The cover panel is disposed on a rear surface of the display panel and includes an opening. The fingerprint sensor is disposed on the rear surface of the display panel in the opening of the cover panel and includes a sensor layer. The reinforcing member is disposed on a rear surface of the fingerprint sensor. The reinforcing member includes a sidewall surrounding at least one area of the sensor layer while being in contact with the rear surface of the fingerprint sensor, and a bottom surface which extends from the sidewall and is spaced apart from the sensor layer.

A display device includes a display panel. A metal plate is disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel and includes a first surface facing the bottom surface of the display panel and a second surface opposite to the one surface. A fingerprint sensor overlaps the second surface of the metal plate. The metal plate includes a recess that is recessed in a direction from the second surface of the metal plate toward the first surface.

Display device including a fingerprint sensor

Provided is a display device. The display device includes a display panel which includes a base substrate, a thin-film transistor layer on the base substrate, and a light emitting element layer comprising light emitting elements on the thin-film transistor layer; a cover window on the light emitting element layer of the display panel; and a fingerprint recognition sensor layer under the display panel. The base substrate includes a first base, a second base on the first base, and a light blocking layer between the first base and the second base, and the light blocking layer includes holes through which light reflected by a finger touching the cover window passes.

Display device comprising fingerprint recognition sensor layers

A display device includes a display panel; a metal plate and a filling member disposed on a same layer on a bottom surface of the display panel and that include different materials; a fingerprint sensor disposed on a bottom surface of the filling member and that overlaps the filling member; and a member-sensor bonding member disposed between the fingerprint sensor and the filling member and that bonds the fingerprint sensor to the filling member. At least a part of a side surface of the filling member and a side surface of the metal plate are spaced apart from each other with an air gap therebetween.

A display device may include: a first substrate including pixel areas; a circuit element layer disposed on a first surface of the first substrate, and including at least one conductive layer; a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit element layer; pixels each including a circuit element and a light emitting element disposed on the circuit element layer and the light emitting element layer in a corresponding one of the pixel areas; a first light transmitting hole array layer including first light transmitting holes distributed in the circuit element layer; and a photo sensor array layer disposed on a second surface of the first substrate and configured to overlap with the first light transmitting hole array layer, the photo sensor array layer comprising photo sensors. The first light transmitting holes may include openings distributed in the at least one conductive layer.

Fingerprint sensor and display device including the same

A fingerprint sensor for a display device including: a substrate having first and second surfaces; a light transmission layer including a first layer disposed on the first surface of the substrate and having first openings in at least one first conductive layer, and a second layer disposed on the first surface of the substrate and having second openings in at least one second conductive layer; a light emitting element layer disposed on the first layer and the second layer and having at least one light emitting element; and a sensor layer disposed on the second surface of the substrate and having light sensors. At least a portion of the first openings and at least a portion of the second openings at least partially overlap and have different sizes.

A fingerprint sensor includes: a substrate; a circuit element layer on a first surface of the substrate and including a plurality of conductive layers; a light emitting element layer on the circuit element layer and including light emitting elements and a light shielding layer; and a light sensor layer on a second surface of the substrate and including light sensors, wherein the light shielding layer includes contact holes exposing first electrodes of the light emitting elements, and first opening portions exposing a portion of the circuit element layer, and the circuit element layer includes second opening portions formed in the plurality of conductive layers and includes a light transmission hole of which at least a portion overlaps the first opening portions.
