A method of canceling interference by a signal receiving apparatus in a communication system supporting a multi-user Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) scheme and a signal receiving apparatus is provided. The method includes determining whether there is a need for using an interference cancellation scheme while performing a signal detecting operation; and performing the signal detecting operation using the interference cancellation scheme, or performing the signal detecting operation without using the interference cancellation scheme based on determining whether there is the need for using the interference cancellation scheme.

A method of operating a wireless local area network (WLAN) station. The WLAN station receives at least one desired signal and at least one interference signal from an access point (AP) capable of simultaneously transmitting desired signals to multiple WLAN stations. The method includes estimating a channel and generating a channel matrix estimated based on the estimated channel, separating a channel matrix of the desired signal and a channel matrix of the interference signal from the estimated channel matrix, generating the matrix of a virtual channel by combining the separated channel matrixes, and executing a sphere decoding (SD) algorithm using the matrix of the virtual channel. The pre-compiling device includes a source code scanner for scanning for a source code file, retrieving a configuration directive, analyzing a syntax of the directive, and outputting a tree of a lexical unit corresponding to the retrieved configuration directive; a core for outputting the configuration directive in a configuration state; code generation modules for outputting a configuration state output from the core as a programming language that has no correlation with a flow of the lexical unit; and programming language modules for transferring information on a comment syntax of the corresponding language to the source code scanner and the code generation modules, and receiving the programming language that has no correlation with the flow of the lexical unit outputted from the code generation modules and outputting source codes.

When a reader of a Radio Frequency Identification (RF-ID) system sends out a command signal to the RF-ID tag and receives a response signal from the RF-ID tag, an End of Signal (EOS) of the received response signal is detected such that the next command signal can be transmitted within a time. Accordingly, response signal can be detected even under the environment of poor signal to noise ratio performance, and the EOS of the response signal from the RF-ID tag can be recognized with ease and speed.

Disclosed is a correlation method to adaptively operate in a time varying phase and a correlator thereof. A correlation method according to the present invention includes performing the first correlation according to a certain reference value and a certain reference interval for correlation of a received signal; calculating an average variation of the received signal through the result of performing the first correlation; deciding a new reference value for the second correlation through the average variation; performing the second correlation according to the new reference value and the reference interval; and selecting the maximum value among the result of performing the second correlation. Accordingly, plural references are decided considering variation of a response signal between tags and also separate plural references are decided considering bit variation of a response signal in the same tag, so that a digital signal can be ideally demodulated in the environment where signal phase variation occurs.

Correlation method to adaptively operate in time varying phase and correlator thereof

A method and system for avoiding tag conflict by identifying a RFID using a K-nary tree search. The tag conflict avoidance system includes a plurality of tags receiving a first signal, converting identification codes of the tags into predetermined codes according to the first signal, and outputting the converted codes as second signals. The tag conflict avoidance system also includes a reader outputting the first signal, receiving the second signals, and identifying the tags using the codes included in the second signals.

A location tracking system and method are provided.
