A sealing apparatus is disclosed. In some implementations, the sealing apparatus includes a process chamber having an internal space, a cell loading portion configured to load a plurality of battery cells and enter the internal space of the process chamber, a plurality of sealing units disposed in the internal space of the process chamber, the plurality of sealing units configured to partially seal the battery cells, respectively, and a driving portion configured to move the plurality of sealing units such that the plurality of sealing units come into contact with the plurality of battery cells, respectively.

In some implementations, the case opening apparatus may include a suction portion including a first suction portion configured to suction an upper portion of a case of a battery cell being in a folded state and a second suction portion configured to suction a lower portion of the case, and a rotation driving portion configured to open the inside of the case by rotating the first suction portion.

A carrier includes a base assembly movably coupled to a transfer rail, a seating plate disposed above the base assembly and having a battery cell seated on an upper surface thereof, a pressurizing and fixing portion for fixing the battery cell to the seating plate by pressurizing the battery cell, and an elastic member for pressurizing the pressurizing and fixing portion toward the seating plate side, wherein the pressurizing and fixing portion is coupled to the base assembly to move in a first direction, which is a horizontal direction, and a second direction, which is a vertical direction.
