An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing () having upper and lower surfaces, with a plurality of passageways (not label) extending therebetween, the insulative housing () further including longitudinal ends each form a block () with an end surface thereof; a plurality of contacts () assembled to the passageways, each including a contact engaging portion (not label) extending above the upper surface; metal shell () attached to the housing () and defining a receiving space with the upper surface of the housing (), the metal shell () including an end tab (not label) corresponding to end surface of the block (). The block () comprises a vertical stopper () and a horizontal stopper () extending from the underside of the vertical stopper (). While assembling the metal shell () to the insulative housing (), the vertical stopper () fastens the metal shell () in the horizontal direction, and the horizontal stopper () fastens the metal shell () in the vertical direction, thereby the insulative housing () fastens with the metal shell () stably.

An audio jack comprises a housing and a plurality of contacts received in the housing. The housing defines a receiving hole along the longitudinal direction of the housing, and the face of the housing has at least an opening communicating with the receiving hole. The contacts at least include a deflectable contact and a fixed contact. The audio jack includes at least a dustproof film covering said opening so as to prevent the dust invading the interior of the audio jack.

A battery connector includes an insulating housing and a plurality of electrical terminals. The insulating housing has a top mating wall, a front wall, a rear wall and a plurality of vertical walls extend downward from the top mating wall, wherein a plurality of terminal receiving chambers are formed between each pair of the vertical, and the top mating wall has a plurality of openings respectively communicating with the terminal receiving chambers for penetrating through the terminal receiving chambers, and two opposite ends of each opening in the top mating face defines a plurality of stand-offs. The electrical terminals respectively received in the terminal receiving chambers, the electrical terminals each having a body, a conducting portion, a resilient portion, and a contacting portion, wherein the contacting portion out of the opening of the top mating wall and tower over the stand-off. With this design, the stand-offs can limit the downward movement of the contacting portions of the electrical terminals.

Battery connector

Provided herewith an electrical card connector includes an insulative housing defining a front portion and a rear portion with a mating interface extending therebetween. A plurality of contact is received in the housing and having their contact engaging portion extends above the mating interface. The insulative housing further defines sides between the front and rear portions. A pair of metallic positioning devices each is attached to a corresponding side of the housing, and includes a vertical portion defining a sidewall of the housing, and a top portion extending from the sidewall toward each other. A receiving space is jointly defined by the mating interface, the sidewalls, and the top portions. The top portion has rounded portion running along edges thereof.

A jack connector () includes an insulative housing (), a charger part () received in the housing, an audio jack part () also received in the housing, and a signal part () located between the charger part and the signal part. The signal part defines a plurality of signal terminals () surrounded by a metallic shell (). The charger part defines a connecting terminal () connecting with a printed circuit board. The connecting terminal is located adjacent to the signal part. The connecting terminal defines a spring part () elastically abutting against the shell.

Electrical card connector

An antenna switch () includes an insulative body (), a guide element (), a conductive element (), an actuator () and a multiply of signal terminals (). The conductive element is attached to the guide element, and includes two conductive pieces () being parallel and laterally offset with each other. The multiply of signal terminals is secured to the insulative body, and includes contact portions () disposed in a linear line, being parallel to the two conductive pieces and extending toward the conductive element. The actuator is for driving the guide element together with the conductive element to be moveable longitudinally such that the guide element is driven to be at a position where some of the signal terminals are in direct contact with one of the conductive pieces.

An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing () for receiving a number of contacts (). The insulative housing has a base () extending in a longitudinal direction and a mating portion () protruding forwardly from the base. The base () defines a slot () from an intermediate position thereof and extending forwardly through the mating portion (). The mating portion () defines a receiving hole () extending into the base (). The receiving hole () is in communication with the slot (). The slot () can counteract a deformation of the insulative housing to ensure the soldering tails () of the contacts coplanar with one another, thereby ensuring the contacts to be wonderfully surface mounted on a PCB.
