A power supply test device includes a function generator, a loading circuit, a current detection circuit, and a controller. The function generator outputs a square-wave signal to the loading circuit. The loading circuit is electronically connected to a power supply, the loading circuit regulates an output current of the power supply according to the square-wave signal. The current detection circuit cooperates with the controller in detecting a slope of the output current. The controller compares the detected slope with a preset value, and regulates the square-wave signal according to the comparison to regulate the slope of the output current.

Power supply test device

A central processing unit (CPU) power controller includes a power supply unit, a CPU power controller, a detecting circuit, a temperature compensation circuit, an inductor, a thermistor, first and second switches, and first and second capacitors. The detecting circuit outputs a detected voltage of an inductor to the CPU power controller. The temperature compensation circuit outputs a detected voltage of the thermistor to the CPU power controller, to compensate for changes in the voltage of the inductor. If the detected voltage is greater than the rated voltage, the first switch is opened and the second switch is closed. The inductor discharges. If the detected voltage of the inductor is less than the rated voltage, the first switch is closed and the second switch is opened, the power supply unit charges the inductor to increase the voltage of the CPU.

System for supplying operating voltage to central processing unit

A buck circuit includes a first inductor, a second inductor, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a first resistor, a second resistor, a first electronic switch, a second electronic switch, a controller, a voltage input terminal, and a voltage output terminal. The relationship of the capacitance C of the first capacitor, the resistance R of the first resistor, the inductance L of the first inductor, and the equivalent impedance Z of the first inductor is R*C=L/Z. The controller detects voltage of the first capacitor, determines whether current of the first inductor is more than a preset value according to the voltage of the first capacitor, and executes over-current protection when the current of the first inductor is more than the preset value.

Buck circuit

A control circuit includes a power controller, a comparator, and first to fifth electronic switches. When an electronic device is operating with light load, a voltage received by the inverting terminal of the comparator is less than a voltage received by the non-inverting terminal of the comparator, such that the first and fourth electronic switches are turned on, and the second, third, and fifth electronic switches are turned off. A first power supply is output to the switching power supply. When the electronic device is operating with heavy load, the voltage received by the inverting terminal of the comparator is greater than the voltage received by the non-inverting terminal of the comparator, such that the first and fourth electronic switches are turned off, and the second, third, and fifth electronic switches are turned on. A second power supply is output to the switching power supply.

Control circuit for switching power supply

A motherboard system includes a PCB, a CPU socket mounted on the PCB, a heat dissipating device, and a number of fastening devices. The CPU socket is configured for receiving a CPU. The heat dissipating device is mounted on the CPU socket for dissipating heat generated by the CPU. The fastening devices extend through the heat dissipating device and the CPU socket and are engaged in the PCB, thereby fastening the heat dissipating device, and the CPU socket to the PCB.
