A multi-screen display apparatus includes two display screens, an optical element and an optical element fixing mechanism. The two display screens are arranged adjacent to each other, wherein the two display screens have an included angle. Each of the display screens has a display area and a frame surrounding the display area. The optical element is disposed between the two display screens and covers two adjacent sides of the frames of the two display screens and portions of the display areas of the two display screens. The optical element fixing mechanism includes a fixing cord, and the fixing cord is configured to fix the optical element to one of the two display screens.

Multi-screen display apparatus

A multi-screen display apparatus includes a first display screen, a second display screen and a prismatic structure optical element. The display area of the first display screen includes a first main display area, a first and second sub display areas. The display area of the second display screen includes a second main display area, a third and fourth sub display areas. The fourth sub display area is adjacent to the second sub display area. The first main display area displays the first part of the first image frame. The first and fourth sub display areas display the second part of the first image frame adjacent to the first part. The second main display area displays the first part of the second image frame. The second and third sub display areas display the second part of the second image frame adjacent to the first part. A display method is also provided.

Multi-screen display apparatus and display method thereof

A multi-screen display device includes a plurality of display screens and a prism-structured optical element disposed between two adjacent display screens. The prism-structured optical element includes a substrate and a plurality of prisms arranged in a predetermined direction on the substrate. The substrate includes a first region and a second region adjacent to each other, and the lengths of the first and second regions in the predetermined direction are respectively La and Lb, and La&#x2265;Lb. The prism includes a plurality of first and second prisms in the first and second regions respectively. Each first and second prism has internal angles &#x3b8;a, &#x3b8;aand internal angles &#x3b8;band &#x3b8;badjacent to the substrate. The inner angle &#x3b8;ais between the inner angle &#x3b8;aand the second region, and &#x3b8;a&#x3c;&#x3b8;a. The internal angle &#x3b8;bis between the internal angle &#x3b8;band the first region, and &#x3b8;b&#x3c;&#x3b8;b

Multi-screen display device

The invention provides a display device including a panel module, a reflection module and a light guide module. The panel module has a display area for displaying an image and a perspective area for displaying a background. The reflection module is disposed at a side of the panel module. A reflective sheet on the reflection module faces the panel module. The shape and position of the reflective sheet correspond to the shape and position of the display area, respectively. The light guide module includes a light guide plate and a light source. The light guide module is disposed between the panel module and the reflection module. The light guide plate has a plurality of optical microstructures, and light emitted by the light source is at least partially directed away from the panel module by the optical microstructures and is transmitted to the reflection module.

Display device

A display apparatus including a display, a prism module and a filter layer is provided. The prism module is disposed on the display. The prism module includes a transparent substrate and a plurality of prism structures. The prism structures are located on the transparent substrate, and a plurality of tips of the prism structures is located away from the display. The filter layer is disposed between the prism module and the display, or the prism module is disposed between the filter layer and the display.

Display apparatus

Display apparatus with multi screens and corresponding display signal control method are provided. The display apparatus with multi screens includes a plurality of display screens arranged adjacent one by one and a prismatic structure optical element. At least two adjacent display screens of the plurality of display screens have an included angle between 90-180 degrees. Each display screen includes a display area and a frame surrounding the display area. The prismatic structure optical element is arranged between the two adjacent display screens with the included angle and to cover two adjacent side edges of the frames of the two adjacent display screens and a portion of the two display areas. The prismatic structure optical element includes a base and a plurality of prisms disposed on the base and arranged adjacent one by one. An extension direction of the prism is substantially parallel to the two adjacent side edges.

Display apparatus with multi screens and display signal control method thereof

A display apparatus including at least one display unit is provided. The display unit includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) module and a self-luminous display module. The self-luminous display module is disposed on an edge of the LCD module. The display apparatus makes an effective use of a frame region of the LCD module for displaying, and maintains the characteristic of the LCD module.

A prism group, configured to cover a portion of a visible area and a portion of a non-visible area of a display module, includes a first prism and a second prism. The first prism disposed on the visible area includes a main body and a platform. The main body has a first light incident surface, a first light emitting surface and a first inclined surface. The first light incident surface faces to the visible area. The first light emitting surface is nearby the non-visible area and connected to the first light incident surface. The first inclined surface is connected between the first light incident surface and the first light emitting surface. The platform is opposite to the non-visible area and connected to the first light emitting surface. The second prism is disposed between the non-visible area and the platform. A display device having the prism group is also provided.

Prism group and display apparatus using the same

A display apparatus including a display device having a display area and a frame area surrounding the display area, a prism module and a transparent element is provided. The corner regions of the frame are adjacent to the corners of the display area respectively. The prism module includes at least one corner prism set disposed on at least one of the corner regions. The transparent element is disposed between the display device and the prism module, and covers the corner regions. The transparent element includes a light entering surface facing the display device, a light exiting surface, and a plurality of side surfaces connected with the light entering surface and the light exiting surface. At least one of the side surfaces located in the corner regions is an inclined surface. The light entering surface connected to the inclined surface is retracted in a direction toward the display area.

Display apparatus with a prism module including a corner prism set disposed on a corner region

A backlight module includes a first surface light source assembly, a second surface light source assembly disposed above the first surface light source assembly, a first optical film disposed above the second surface light source assembly and including a plurality of prisms arranged along a first direction, and a light filter element disposed between the first and second surface light source assemblies. Both of the first surface light source assembly and the second surface light source assembly include a light emitting unit and a light guide plate. Each prism has a tip end facing the second surface light source assembly. The light filter element is configured to allow an incident light ray within a predetermined range of incident angle to pass therethrough. The backlight module can be switched between a narrow viewing angle mode and a wide viewing angle mode. Related driving method and display apparatus are also provided.

Backlight module, driving method thereof, and display apparatus using the backlight module

A display apparatus includes a display device and a prism module. The display device has a display area and a frame area surrounding the display area. The prism module is disposed above the frame area. The prism module includes a plurality of first prism sets and at least one second prism set. The first prism sets are respectively disposed beside a plurality of edges of the display area. The second prism set is disposed beside at least one corner of the display area, and the second prism set is adjacent to the first prism sets. The second prism set includes a plurality of prisms, and the prisms are arranged in a direction away from the corner of the display area. The extending direction of each of the prisms of the second prism set is inclined with respect to the edges of the display area which are adjacent to the corner.

Display apparatus including a prism module

A display apparatus and a display method are disclosed. The display apparatus includes at least one display unit and a control unit. The display unit includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) module and a self-luminous display module. The self-luminous display module is disposed on an edge of the LCD module. The control unit is electrically connected to the LCD module and the self-luminous display module, and matches optical parameters of the LCD module with optical parameters of the self-luminous display module. The display apparatus makes an effective use of a frame region of the LCD module for displaying, and maintains the characteristic of the LCD module, and the display method matches display effects of the LCD module and the self-luminous display module.

A light source module including a light guide plate, a light source set and a light modulating device is provided. The light guide plate includes a light entering surface. The light source set is disposed beside the light entering surface. The light source set is adapted to emit a first light beam. The first light enters the light entering surface through the light modulating device, and the light modulating device makes a divergence angle of the first light converge.

A light source module including a light guide plate, a light source set and a light modulating device is provided. The light guide plate includes a light entering surface. The light source set is disposed beside the light entering surface. The light-source is adapted to emit a first light beam. The light modulating device is disposed between the light source set and the light guide plate. The light modulating device includes a light reflection portion. The first light enters the light entering surface through the light modulating device, and the light modulating device makes the divergence angle of the first light converge.
