A scan circuit applicable to driving a plurality of light-emitting-diodes of a display panel is provided. Each of a plurality of switching components is electrically connected with a scan line of the display panel for determining if the light-emitting-diodes connected to the scan line are conductive. A plurality of power transistors are disposed corresponding to the scan lines, each connected between one scan line and a ground terminal. A low-dropout regulator circuit or global operational amplifier is alternatively connected to the plurality of switching components in common for selectively pulling up a voltage level of the scan lines and avoiding ghost imaging on the display panel. By employing the proposed scan circuit, the invention is effective in achieving de-ghost functioning and avoiding conventional signal coupling issues on the display panel. In addition, redundant power waste consumption is significantly reduced at the same time.

Scan circuit applicable to driving a plurality of light-emitting-diodes (LED) of a display panel

A light-emitting diode (LED) panel and a driving device therefore is provided. The driving device includes a source driver and a scan driver. The source driver is coupled to a plurality of data lines disposed in the LED panel. The source driver outputs driving currents to the data lines in any one of a plurality of scan line periods, to drive an LED array of the LED panel. The scan driver is coupled to a plurality of scan lines disposed in the LED panel, wherein the scan driver scans the scan lines during the plurality of scan line periods. In an active period of any one of the scan line periods, the scan driver applies an enable voltage to a current scan line among the scan lines, and the scan driver applies a pre-charge voltage to other scan line among the scan lines.

Light-emitting diode panel and driving device thereof

A display control system for controlling a display panel having a plurality of display zones includes a main controller, a plurality of display driver circuits and a plurality of memories. Each of the display driver circuits is coupled to a corresponding display zone among the plurality of display zones, to control the corresponding display zone. Each of the memories is coupled to a corresponding display driver circuit among the plurality of display driver circuits, to store a compensation data for the corresponding display zone controlled by the corresponding display driver circuit. The plurality of display driver circuits are cascaded through a plurality of first transmission channels and connected through at least one second transmission channel, and each of the first transmission channels is coupled between two of the plurality of display driver circuits or between one of the plurality of display driver circuits and the main controller.

The present invention discloses a display panel and a display device. The display panel comprises a plurality of common electrode blocks and a plurality of display regions. During a display period, one or more common electrode blocks corresponding to one of the display regions which is to be displayed during the display period are coupled to a common voltage; and during the display period, one or more of the common electrode blocks corresponding to the display regions which are not to be displayed during the display period are kept in a floating state.

A method of scanning a display panel having a plurality of rows of pixels includes steps of: generating a first accumulated number; calculating a first scan number according to the first accumulated number; scanning a present row of pixels having the first scan number among the plurality of rows of pixels; accumulating the first accumulated number to generate a second accumulated number; calculating a second scan number according to the second accumulated number; and scanning a next row of pixels having the second scan number among the plurality of rows of pixels after scanning the present row of pixels. Method of scanning display panel and related display driver

A display driver and a charge recycling method are provided. The display driver includes a charging and discharging circuit and a control circuit. A first terminal of the charging and discharging circuit is coupled to at least one of the scan lines, and a second terminal of the charging and discharging circuit is coupled to at least one of the data lines. The control circuit is coupled to a first control terminal and a second control terminal of the charging and discharging circuit. The charging and discharging circuit receives a first current generated by discharging the at least one of the scan lines to charge the capacitor based on a first control signal. The charging and discharging circuit discharges the capacitor to generate a second current for charging the at least one of the data lines based on a second control signal.

The disclosure provides a digital-to-analog conversion device and an operation method thereof. The digital-to-analog conversion device includes a digital-to-analog conversion circuit and a slew rate enhancement circuit. The digital-to-analog conversion circuit is configured to convert a digital code into an analog voltage. An output terminal of the digital-to-analog conversion circuit outputs the analog voltage to a load circuit. A control terminal of the slew rate enhancement circuit is coupled to the digital-to-analog conversion circuit to receive a control voltage following the analog voltage. The slew rate enhancement circuit is coupled to the output terminal of the digital-to-analog conversion circuit. A source driver and a driving system for driving an LED panel, and an LED display system are provided. The driving system includes: a plurality of source drivers, for respectively supplying driving currents to channels of different portions on the LED panel, and each source driver includes: a plurality of driving circuits, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of channels on the LED panel, and are connected to a same current control line, each driving circuit being configured to supply a driving current to a corresponding channel, wherein, the supplied driving current is associated with a voltage on the current control line which the driving circuit is connected with. When one or more driving circuits switch between a non-driving state and a driving state, the driving current being supplied by the driving circuit(s) being in the driving state in the plurality of source drivers is compensated.

Source driver and driving system for driving LED panel, and display system

The disclosure provides a control method of a display driver. The control method includes receiving address information and defining an IC address according to the address information. The IC address includes n bits representing k zones, and n and k are positive integers. The control method further includes receiving the IC address, a black frame data signal and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, and turning on or off the plurality of LEDs in the corresponding zone according to toggle of bit in the black frame data signal. Each bit in the black frame data signal indicates that a plurality of LEDs in a zone among the k zones are turned on or off.

Display driver and control method thereof

A precharge method for a data driver includes steps of: outputting a display data to a plurality of output terminals of the data driver; outputting a second precharge voltage to an output terminal among the plurality of output terminals prior to outputting the display data to the output terminal, to precharge the output terminal to a voltage level closer to an output voltage; and outputting a first precharge voltage to the output terminal prior to outputting the second precharge voltage. A source driver includes a first DAC for driving a first-color subpixel and a second DAC for driving a second-color subpixel. Each DAC is configured to output at least one output voltage according to an N-bit data code, and includes a plurality of sub-DACs, an interpolation circuit and a switch circuit. Each sub-DAC receives m bits of the N-bit data code and generates a set of intermediate voltages accordingly. The interpolation circuit performs an interpolation on a selected set of intermediate voltages according to k bits of the N-bit data code and at least one interpolation control signal, to generate the output voltage. The switch circuit electrically connects the interpolation circuit and a selected sub-DAC which outputs the selected set of intermediate voltages. The interpolation circuit of the first DAC and the interpolation circuit of the second DAC respectively perform the interpolation according to different numbers of interpolation bits.

A driving method, for a controller in a display apparatus, is disclosed. The display apparatus includes LED strings, scan transistors, current regulators and a power converter. The driving method includes following steps. LED cathode voltages are detected on nodes between the LED strings and the current regulators. When a first LED cathode voltage is equal to a minimal operable voltage of the current regulators and a second LED cathode voltage exceeds the minimal operable voltage of the current regulators, a driving current flowing through the second data channel is adjusted by increasing a pulse current level of the driving current and reducing a duty cycle ratio of the driving current flowing through the second data channel.
