A syringe comprising: a body delimiting a chamber; a piston able to slide in the chamber of the body along a longitudinal axis of the syringe, wherein the piston comprises a rod, a head, and a finger rest, which are all in one piece; and a deformable retention device designed to prevent the piston from leaving the body entirely, wherein the retention device is force-fitted in the chamber, extends around the piston over an angular sector strictly greater than 180&#xb0; when it is in the assembled position, and has protruding external ribs which extend parallel to the longitudinal axis and are plastically deformable when the retention device is assembled in the chamber.

Syringe and method for assembling it

This syringe () comprises an elongate hollow body () forming a reservoir intended to contain a substance to be injected, the body () comprising a tip intended to receive a connection device and an opening () located at the opposite side of the body () relative to the tip, a piston mounted sliding in the body () and movable in translation along a longitudinal axis (X) of the syringe between a retracted position, in which the piston is in abutment at the tip side, and an extended position, in which the piston is in abutment at the opening side (), gripping members () provided on the body (), and a gripping member () provided at an opposite end of the piston relative to a head of the piston. The gripping members () provided on the body () comprise bearing areas () for fingers of a user, oriented towards the gripping member () of the piston, and the gripping member () of the piston comprises at least one bearing area for fingers of the user, located facing the gripping members () provided on the body (). The piston () is formed from a single piece made from a material having a Young's modulus greater than 3000 MPa and the piston () has no elastic area between the gripping member () of same and the substance to be injected.

Syringe

The balloon inflation device comprises a syringe () having a syringe barrel () and a syringe piston () slidably and rotatably movable. The piston () has an exterior threading. The syringe barrel also comprises a retractable mechanism () for retaining the piston () in the syringe barrel, which mechanism () is switchable between a retracted state in which the piston () is free to slide in the syringe barrel and an active state in which the free sliding of the piston () is impossible and in which the piston () can be screwed or unscrewed. The device comprises a pressure gauge () for measuring the output pressure of the syringe barrel (). The pressure gauge () is mounted angularly movable with respect to the syringe barrel () and around the axis of the syringe barrel ().
