A wireless scanning device includes a scanning module adapted to scan a subject, a processor coupled to the scanning module, and a wireless communication module coupled to the processor for wireless communication with a user device. The processor is operable to control the scanning module to start scanning the subject according to a scan command from the user device. The scanning module is operable to generate scan data segments during scanning. The processor is further operable, for each scan data segment, to generate and transmit a real-time display data segment for real-time display and a compressed data segment for storage to the user device.

Wireless scanning device and method for scanning and transmitting scan data

A command conversion interface between an image machine with a plurality of hard keys and an image requestor is disclosed. When the command conversion interface detects and determines the activation of a specific hard key of the image machine, digital image information from the image machine is provided for the image requestor through the command conversion interface to execute a designated task, which has not been built in the image machine. In the command conversion interface, the designated task is interpreted by a destination command script, and the destination command script is processed by a compiler along with the digital image information, then transmitted to the image requestor to execute the task. The relationship between the specific hard key and the designated task refers to a new correlation table of the command conversion interface.

A method for automatically integrating digital data obtained from the interaction between an image pickup apparatus and a data-processing apparatus is provided. The method includes steps of opening a file; picking up the image of a first object to provide first image data; converting the first image data into first digital data; automatically saving the first digital data into the file; picking up the image of a second object to provide second image data; converting the second image data into second digital data; and automatically saving the second digital data into the file including the first digital data. It is especially convenient for users to manage documents more than one page.

Method for automatically integrating digital data

This specification discloses a multi-mode image processing method and the corresponding system. Multiple modes, including line art, gray level, and colors, are used to capture and store image information. An image capture device is used to capture a preliminary color image. An image analyzing device divides the preliminary color image into line art image areas, gray-level image areas, and color image areas. The image capture device captures an advanced line art image, an advanced gray-level image, and an advanced color image. Users can select the line art image areas, the gray-level image areas, and the color image areas in order to obtain the advanced line art image, the advanced gray-level image, and the advanced color image, respectively. An image storage device stores the multi-mode image information into a multi-mode image file.

Multi-mode image processing method and a system thereof

The present invention provides an apparatus and method for providing extra bits for post image processing, thereby to increase the image bit depth and compensate the loss of image accuracy. The present invention operates on multiple least insignificant bits of the post-pixel memory device and the pre-pixel memory device to generate compensation bits. The compensation bits can be appended to the rightmost bit positions of the current pixel. With the compensation bits, the image bit depth can be increased. Consequently, the image will be processed more accurately after post processing. Moreover, since the extended bitstream preserves the complete bits of the original pixel, therefore the accuracy of the original image will not be affected by the compensation bits.
