A display device including a substrate including a display region and a non-display region disposed at one side of the display region, the display region includes first and second areas adjacent to each other; a display unit disposed on a front surface of the substrate, the display unit including a plurality of pixels for displaying an image; a cushion layer disposed on a rear surface of the substrate, the cushion layer including a first opening portion corresponding to the first area; a fingerprint sensor provided in the first opening portion of the cushion layer, the fingerprint sensor sensing a fingerprint of a user; and a first light-blocking layer disposed on a rear surface of the substrate, the first light-blocking layer covering at least part of the cushion layer and a lower surface of the fingerprint sensor.

The display device includes a light emitting substrate which comprises a base and a light emitting element disposed on the base; an encapsulation substrate which is disposed on the light emitting substrate; a frit which surrounds the light emitting element and is disposed between the light emitting substrate and the encapsulation substrate; and a first coating layer which is disposed between the encapsulation substrate and the frit, and comprises a compound having an intramolecular *&#x2014;(OCHCH)&#x2014;OH structure, and at least partially contacting the frit.

A display device, including a mold frame including a bottom portion and a plurality of bent portions, the bent portions being bent from sides of the bottom portion in a direction toward a first surface of the bottom to overlap the bottom portion; a display module on a first side of the mold frame; and a bracket on a second side of the mold frame and coupled to the mold frame, the mold frame further including a receiving space, the receiving space being defined by a first surface of the bottom portion and the bent portions for accommodating parts therein.
