A wheel cover assembly for a wheel of a motor vehicle may include a wheel body and a cover portion arranged on an outside of the wheel body. The cover portion may be guided on the wheel body so as to be movable relative to the wheel body between an open position allowing an air flow between the outside and an inside of the wheel body, and a closed position preventing the air flow. Conversion from the open position to the closed position takes place automatically based on an operating state of the wheel. The cover portion may be configured as a disc-like component covering the outside. The cover portion may be arranged movably parallel to an axis of the wheel body between the open position and the closed position, in the open position opening a ring gap between an edge of the cover portion and the wheel body.

Wheel rim assembly

A seat component for a vehicle seat having at least one air outlet unit configured to be connected to an air supply. In order to be able to adapt a ventilation function of the vehicle seat individually to a contact area between the vehicle seat and a person sitting thereon, the air outlet unit has at least one flexible air guide funnel and at least one diaphragm valve which is arranged within the at least one flexible air guide funnel and which is connected to the at least one flexible air guide funnel in such a way that the diaphragm valve closes the air guide funnel when the air guide funnel is not deformed, and at least partially opens the air guide funnel when the air guide funnel is deformed.

A vehicle seat comprises a seat surface and a thigh support. The thigh support is adjustable and/or movable by use of a first adjustment device in or opposed to a first adjustment direction, which preferably runs substantially parallel to the seat surface, from an extended position into a retracted position. Furthermore, the thigh support is deflectable substantially vertically to the seat surface and/or to the underlying surface by use of a force which can be exerted by a vehicle occupant and is downwardly directed in the direction of a vehicle floor, wherein the thigh support has at least one second adjustment device for setting and/or defining a movement resistance with which the thigh support opposes the downwardly directed force.

Adjustable thigh support for a vehicle seat

A method for operating a vehicle comprising at least one light source designed to emit light for illuminating the surroundings of the vehicle is described. The method comprises the following steps: determining whether a road user approaches the vehicle to within a predetermined distance; determining the distance between the road user and the vehicle; and illuminating the surroundings of the vehicle by use of the at least one light source at the side of the vehicle from which the road user approaches the vehicle should the distance between the road user and the vehicle drop below a first threshold distance.

An apparatus and method for improving the safety-relevant wear-comfort of a seatbelt worn by an occupant of a vehicle seat uses at least one sensor to detect the contour and/or position of the seatbelt, at least one actuator system for moving the seatbelt in order to change the contour and/or position, and at least one control module for controlling the actuator system. The control module is operative to control the actuator system automatically as a function of a deviation of the seatbelt contour/position, as detected by the sensor, from a predefined contour/position which reflects correct wear of the seatbelt.
